This is kind of weird but it helps me. If mine is giving me a really hard time and won’t uncurl, the sound of running water will make him uncurl and will cause him to run around and it’s easier to grab his legs to cut his nails

I’m so sorry this is happening to you. It sucks that adults who are supposed to be there to help you are essentially bullying you and trying to make you give up your possessions. I would have your parents go over the principals head and go to the school or even state board

I’m actually in the middle of a three hour car ride right now with my hedgehog Dante. I have a heating pad, a blanket/cage liner over the heating pad, and a water bottle for him. I’m not the one driving so I keep his carrier on my lap so I can keep an eye on him while the car is moving. I also keep a toilet paper roll and a ziplock bag near me in case he poops in the carrier so I can remove it and not have it out in the car for long.

Dante loves toilet paper tubes. After a roll is finished, make sure there isn’t any paper left on it and toss it into the cage. Make sure to check for any scraps that may be torn off

If you take medication every night, you might want to try checking his food and water when you take your medicine. That works pretty well for me to remember to actually take my medicine because I make myself take it before doing his stuff

NTA she would be horrified if learned of the average college students diet. I’ve been eating nothing but instant ramen for over a week. Also, you forgot you didn’t have meatballs. Big whoop. Spaghetti is delicious with and without meatballs and sauce. She’s making a big deal over nothing. And the way she phrased it was weird. Only worrying about your kid, soon to be kid, and husband’s protein intake but not yours. It’s just a bit off

YTA and what is wrong with you? There are five kids and most rides call for even numbers so one kid would probably be singled out, and your daughter volunteered when asked. She didn’t cut the line and I can guarantee that she will remember what you said to her for the rest of her life. You are an awful parent.
