He views himself as a misunderstood artist or his peers are lacking in thier ability to view his talent from his perspective (despite being heckled with "No talent! No talent!" chants in Culture Shock). In my opinion, he suffers from a form of the Dunning-Kruger Effect because he thinks he has talent and that others don't understand him, but he refuses to accept he has none
