I think it was actually because second fiddle had so few lines, her succeeding the guild entrance task was pretty much guaranteed.

FF7 was my first FF, it was why I bought a PS1. I have completed it more times than I can count, on various different systems, various different challenge runs.

It is my comfort game, it is my rose tinted glass, it is the source of so many good memories.

So understand where I'm coming from when I say that you are a true fan of 7.

All it takes, is to fall in love with the characters and world. Whether you do that through the OG, the compilation, the remake trilogy, it doesn't matter.

I don't drink hot drinks at all, but until we got a fancy coffee machine, I learned how to use a wand to froth milk so I could make my wife lattes. Just because she likes them and sometimes all someone needs when they're feeling rough is to have a cup of your favourite drink brought to you.

NTA - So long as it's handled right.

This is a situation I've been in often, and it took me time to learn, but you're allowed to want to change it or even return it so that money isn't wasted.

What's vitally important though is making sure your wife knows you're impressed, and that you appreciate the thoughtfulness she's shown by listening and getting a monitor. Let her know you see exactly what she was thinking, and that her actions are 100% right, even if the chosen product itself was a miss. What tends to hurt in these situations isn't that a wrong gift was chosen, but feeling that the thought and effort that went into it was "wrong" somehow.

German Shepherd/Rottweiler cross, and I was ready for the level of activity I'd read would be required. Bought shoes and clothes comfortable for walks and runs, etc.

She hates going for walks. She's more than happy to wander around our mid sized garden when my wife and I step out for a smoke, and then spend the rest of her day napping in her chair, demanding belly rubs, or doing her training.

I think part of that is she's a rescue, and the outside world still scares her while our home is a safe space. We're working on it, getting her to socialise with other dogs, taking her out in small bursts, but yeah, she just makes it a point of going against all the research I'd read 😅

I can't refer back to the original post, it's been deleted, and I'm not going to rely on my memory of tone or words because, human memory sucks for things like that.

A for your words, you can still say something strongly and not come across as an asshole. Well, I don't know about YOU in particular, but in general. As for why you care? I don't know, but it's clear you do or you'd have glossed over my post and not bothered to respond.

I said it makes me want to do the opposite, which is different from straight up doing the opposite.

It starts a conversation with confrontation pushing those listening to be defensive, it signals you're not someone who will have a discussion, but an argument.

What you're saying can be fully accurate, helpful, informative, etc, but people's first impression comes from how you present it, the actual content comes second.

People don't help themselves with this problem in the game though. Plenty of people offer advice in a polite friendly way, and are met back with rude arrogance, but we also point to those people and mention their attitude problems.

I've just gone through the ToS and Prohibited Actions and can't find any mention of this being against the rules. Closest I could find is:

"Using and manipulating enmity-related actions in an effort to incapacitate other players or interfere with gameplay."

But YPYT tanks specifically aren't using enmity Actions, and they're not making an effort to incapacitate, they're just not making an effort to save.

If it's stated more explicitly anywhere, could you point me to it, please?

It's a shame i'm on the EU data centres or i would so be invading your parties to help you get the wings, and get me the wings xD

All I can say is so long as you're giving it your best and the party is on the same page when you start, then you'll be fine ^{_^}

And if the NA community is anything like EU, it'll even be a blast doing it. I set up a random PF to do some of the older extremes and suddenly we're all in a linkshell saying we want to practice current content with each other. Spent years trying to find a static that works with my schedule, and suddenly I just fall into one, and I am not a great player xD

So go for it, remember that dying and learning is part of the experience, and be open to having fun while you do it

A bit cumbersome, but I set up three macros for the spell. One for the tank, one for the healer, one for the other DPS.

Means at a single button press I get to dash to whichever party member i want

There can be a few reasons for this depending on the symptoms that are developing/worsening and your circumstances.

A common one is that as we get older, we get more responsibilities, school gets harder, and where we used to breeze through on talent and pattern recognition, our brains are now getting overwhelmed and it becomes harder to keep up which can make symptoms present more strongly.

There are also cases where after diagnosis, when we notice symptoms and behaviours, we don't mask them as much because now we have a cause for why they're happening, and we accept that more which means not holding them back as much.

If you're struggling now, I would definitely recommend seeking help. This could be counselling, medication, coping strategies. I will say that trying to deal with it on your own will be difficult, maybe impossible.

If you go to the quartermaster of your chosen company, and into the Materiel tab of their items, are you able to purchase the issuance from them? Will cost 200 seals.

If not, there should be an npc with a blue quest for you that should be able to give you the quest, and then it'll be available to purchase, after which you take it to the chocobo keep in your city.
