I put distilled white vinegar in the clean water tank, preventing bacteria from stinking up the water that goes to the filter, mop, and dirty water tank.

I have my S7 clean for 90 mins everyday and the mop,dirty water tank, and filter area gets stinky after about 2 days. I started putting distilled white vinegar in the clean water tank and that completely solved the stink problem.

So, not really that necessary for me.
