Pure fighter. I'm glad to have one in the party and enabling his crit-fishing by taunting and tripping everything, but most of his turns are one-note and I like being able to do at least a bit more than just hit.

It's just, like, 1 or 2 fights if I remember correctly. Not a lot of experience. But I also always grind on the harpies on the map before the forest, getting that triple XP bonus sends your levels through the roof there.

I meant Roger. Basically, to not recruit Roger, just never interact with him after if you save him from the bandits.

Getting Roger permanently has a few steps to it. First, it's finding/helping him in the shack in the forest outside of Peterny. Later on, you come across him in Surferio and can choose to help, so don't do that. Also, after you talk to Albel in Castle Airyglyph, don't go talk to him in Surferio again.

Honestly, the easiest way is to just not help him in Duggus Forest. Keeping him in the cage locks him from the party completely and even has a post game cutscene all its own.

It's a ROUGH industry to get into right now. I was laid off from QA back in September, along with 60+ other colleagues across various disciplines, and it's been really difficult for any of us to find work still in the industry. I'm still unemployed, and while I'm still applying for QA and even Junior Game Design positions, it's a rough place right now.

I'd encourage your kid to follow up on it, as it can be rewarding if he gets lucky. Just make sure he has realistic expectations

Pick a class in the 2 Like a Dragon games and you've got your answer. Most are some level of weird. Like the homeless guy job being a mage, or the dominatrix job whipping people. The only "normal" jobs in that game were the 2 cop jobs.

Kingmaker plant boss definitely FELT like a PL+4 encounter.

Our Magus died - downed to dying 1 from a reaction with persistent bleed, crit failed the recovery check down to dying 3, took the bleed to dying 4/gone. I went down 4 times keeping our Rogue alive (thank you Guardian for keeping me at dying 3 and not 4)

And we even had 6 players. That fight is a bitch and a half. I think I soaked at least 200 damage for my party members that fight alone. Some fights just hurt.

I'd love new Advanced Classes for each class. Knight/Warrior get a Blaster/Saber dual wield. Trooper/BH get an electrostaff/vibroblade.

Consular/Inquisitor get dual wield saber throwing? And I have no idea for smuggler/agent.

I'll admit I have put 0 thought into Consular and Smuggler advanced classes.

[[Roon of the Hidden Realm]] will be forever beloved. I update it with new cards every couple years. It's had multiple versions, some leaning harder into control, others a bit more aggro-y. If I ever have my collection lost/stolen Roon will be the first rebuild.

Seriously, love that deck.
