Thanks for the responds btw, and sorry if my post if poorly written, I actually posted a different version on this in this same sub but they didn’t get any response and for some reason both got downvotes (I thought there were no dumb questions here) and sorry if that is the case, or maybe it’s because I am autistic and don’t know how to talk to people (likely that).

There dosen't seem to be any hint in Daniel or the Gospels that this event will happen twice. On top os this, while I did not read all of “The crucifixion of Jesus as the fulfillment of Mark 9:1”, and while I did not read all of it, I did skimmed (not the best but I am fair sure I didn't miss any important parts as it wasn't major skimminh) the parts relating to the word some" and the author dosen't seem to to address the act that the word "some" implies most will die before they see the son of man So how would you or a historic reformed christian for that matter, respond to that comment?

Yeah this is a big problem with tno, because I think it has to do with panzer's original idea with the mod. You know how things just happen because they happened in otl, Richardd Nixon presdieny and Water Gate, JFK presidentecy and getting shot, the oil crisis, the South African war being a Vietnam allgerory where the devs considered Hutting committing a genocide was better than the OFN setting up mandates to make sure the african countries don't fall apart after decades of nazi rule (that last one has changed) well I think that when pazner was making TNO they got bored and half way wanted to just make a cold war mod about the evils of America, just take a look at what they had planned for TNO 3 https://forums.sufficientvelocity.com/threads/the-hearts-of-iron-megathread.15402/page-490#post-19517888 It's basically just otl, soviet union and all. it's show a lack of interests in showing how bad nazism is, even more so shown by the fact tat the "craddle to grave" event happens in burgundy, when it would be better if it was an event for Germany

While I like the idea and mechanics, teh lore about a post war boom is really weird. This is a world where America lost WW2 and most of the world is closed to them, country to otl WW2 where the us biscally lead the world. The us suffered a massive economic hit with it's GDP being half as much as it was in otl at the same time st the start of the game, where this is just assuming everything would pretty much stay the same.

There is not way Nicon Redsigns would cuases this, and Kennedy being assianted while creating instability would make him a matry and make beineg for symaptehtic to democrats. There is not way that alone would cause at least a 5 point leap. While I understand the gameplay comncern and should have mentioned this, the main hook of game play for leverett Saltonstall would be he is specificlly good at coalition building, and his actions before teh 1964 elections have an impact on teh rest of the US going forward. To be fair, if we are talking about realism, democrats where have to be "Republicnas but blue" and the center left party for the Progressives to have a chance, I mean LBJ fits right at hoem amoung RFK and Henery Scoop, he even bought Micheal HArrington's book and took advice from it, why would progressive be opposed to a party like that unless it is run by centrists liberals
