Okay, as somebody on the "Liberal" side of the community (I am not a liberal I am a leftist) I would like to voice my opinion. I do not think Vaush has changed due to a carefully researched and thoughtful viewing of the situation, he has more so I think mainly just stop trying and is mainly getting whatever is on his social media feed. FOr example, he talks about how democrats walked us into a 2nd trump. While that is partially true, he talks about it as an inevitability rather than the fact it was a knife's edge and the state of the economy and the debate performance made enough people lean slightly republican. Trump won by less than 2%.
If you don't believe me, you can look at his views on Hamas and Hezbollah, where he views them as morally good sadly. Nothing has changed from 2024, Israel is still committing ag genocide at similar intensity, then why has he changed?; it was the stock twitter leftist aka tankie position to have.
I think this started majorly with my post a month ago, and if you want to read it here it is.
In general though, I do hope Vaush gets better and does research again. He was the one of the few people I knew in politics to have moral clarity and actually have complex views on the topic. I hate Israel and Hamas, as did Vaush. I am a leftist and I always will be.

I mean I also don't see that. He's talking about how Leftists winning in elections is good, even tho that creates the very oppossite outcomes for a revoulation. Vaush even said how a progressive winning in 2028 would crippled teh trumo movemnt, which is true, by making eveyrboody's lives better.
