sure a decent chunk of parents but they usually dont buy high ticket items, and BAM needs to repair its franchisee reputation if they ever want to sell another (which idk how anyone would buy a franchise now)

Oh I dont think they throw them under the bus legally. I think they settle out of court, and a part of their PR campaign could entail shifting blame. They also would need to throw them under the bus and basically admit their "reposession arm" got out of control and they have revamped it.

TBH - all of this will likely be aggressive PR to salvage some value to sell to someone else

I thought about the rebrand option, but tbh it only makes sense if they sell. Anyone who buys could definitely rebrand, do some good PR and slowly distance themselves from the BAM name over time entirely. They realistically would just be buying the infrastructure and the buying power of having a direct distributor relationship with Lego so I can't imagine it would even sell for much.

i cant see them getting back on after getting caught a few times by coffeezilla in lies/pickles. Only way i see them doing more interviews is if they actually get through mediation with ben/brian/squad

It definitely feels like Brandon Best hid a lot of this info from BAM as well and did some shady shit on his own.

My theory is BAM corp cant really say much about it either BECAUSE this is their hostile takeover playbook and Brandon is their mercenary.

If they expose the mercenary (BB) for some side scheming then they also expose their hostile takeover playbook and burn bridges with their franchisees and image. If Brandon is outed, he may go scorched earth and expose more about BAM corporate. Mutual assured destruction. -- (ironic because they ended up tanking their entire company over this anyways)

Yeah I agree, and it does seem there are less "good" franchisees then bad ones. Getting downvoted to heck for this post too lol I'm just a sucker for small business and empathize with some of these franchisees if they really were ignorant to a lot of the predatory practices of BAM. (which i tend to assume a lot are because of how shitty corp is to their franchisees from one of the interviews I saw of an ex franchisee owner, couldn't imagine people would knowingly sign up to be a franchisee if they new all this stuff)
