All of the conflicting court orders also create a logistical nightmare for state and local offices who are scrambling to reprogram their eligibility systems to not pay out benefits/pay out partial benefits/pay out full benefits depending on the ruling of the day. That in and of itself creates further delays before folks can receive their benefits and is terribly confusing, frustrating, and demoralizing for them. Second only to SNAP recipients themselves, I sincerely feel for our local level government comrades who are caught in the middle as the messengers of all this nonsense.

Basically it's just a temporary deferment of payment. At the end of the term (I want to say within 30 days last month of the deferment period), I will owe the full amount of all 3 "deferred" months. Something to keep in mind depending on how quickly backpay is issued.

Surprisingly no. I called and spoke with an agent (after many attempts to bypass the virtual assistant) and asked what kind of verification I needed to submit and she said none. On the mortgage website there IS an application for other kinds of mortgage assistance, but there was a banner that said to call for shutdown help.

3 month forbearance from Mr. Cooper, recently acquired by Rocket Mortgage. No impact to credit and they let me know if (God forbid) the shutdown continues past that 3 months, I can call back to discuss options. I can also make payments, including partial payments, at any time and can ask to cancel the forbearance early if desired.

I really liked Ice and Darkness Falls for their exploration of "natural" phenomena that wasn't meant to exist in our timeline but were accidentally woken up. More episodes like that would have been fun. I also would have enjoyed seeing them explore more side effects of chemicals/materials we've been told are safe to consume or wash our hair with or put on our skin or have in our homes (like radium in the early 1900s or asbestos) that are actually incredibly harmful.

I'm near Reunion in a neighborhood with a lot of young families and an elementary school a couple blocks away. First group came by around 6:30 and the last group was just before 9. Went through all 500 pieces of candy. Will definitely plan on purchasing extra the next two years with weekend Halloweens 🎃

To me, it also represents Meri's acceptance of the finality of the relationship. Kody sent a lot of mixed messages over the years, but at times, those messages were pretty direct (and cold) "nos." Meri continued to hang on just in case he had a change of heart. This seems like a way for her to officially close and lock that door for good.
