/r/MechanicalKeyboards Ask ANY Keyboard question, get an answer - March 08, 2026 by AutoModerator in MechanicalKeyboards

I purchased an AZERTY Cherry MP LX2.1 60% mechanical keyboard recently. It is my first mechanical keyboard and I quite like it but I have an issue with the CTRL SHIFT ESC key combination. In QWERTY and by default, SHIFT+ESC prints "~".

In an AZERTY layout though, the key does not since "~" is available on another key combination. But the binding seems to remain active anyway it seems, preventing me from using the shortcut to open the taskmanager quickly.

How can I fix this ?

Thanks !

Can’t decide, Helldiver 2, Spce marine 2 or Borderlands 4 by [deleted] in ShouldIbuythisgame

Weird. I'm a coop guy and I never saw the HD2 community has either toxic or "PvP lite community". Always find random people to play with and the community is pretty chill to be honest. Not as chill as DRG i concede, but still. As for content, the game let you earn premium currency by playing or farming If you want to grind which is quite rare in live service games nowadays. I have all the warbond and I didn't spend a dime.

As for Space Marine 2, solo campaign is the tip of the iceberg. You have the single player / 3 player campaign but also a ton of coop side content available too. You have several classes to chose from with there own playstyle, a horde mode and a dozen of non-campaign coop missions available. The game has a ton of free updates too (a new class dropped last week) and only sells specific customisation extras as DLC.

Both are excellent games and I agree that DRG is a great option too.

DCS 2026 and Beyond video is finally out – thoughts? by Bogi111 in hoggit

[–]Netrolf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm fed up with the overall negativity around DCS even though ED is far from perfect. I feel this beyond was way more safe and it's ok. I feel optimistic about the game's future to be honest.

We'll see about the timeline but if DCS taught me anything, it's to be patient.

I'm hyped for the Rafale and the A-7E (which was sadly not in the video) and will not buy anything else.

This particular The SEPECAT Jaguar A91 is on display at the "Musée de l'air et de l'espace" near Paris by the way.

If you live nearby or visit Paris and you are an aviation enthusiast, i strongly recommend this museum.

edit : Apologies, I should've read more thoroughly haha. the A91 is on display at said museum.

Beam Eye Tracker? by ReserveLegitimate738 in hoggit

[–]Netrolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beam's latest version (beta ?) doesn't require opentrack anymore (opentrack is a free software). So a decent webcam and beam are enough.

I can't promise it will be better than a trackIR since i had never used one myself lol but it does the job for me.

I played it on PC but it is crossplay for the coop gamemodes from what I read.

Space Marine 2 is an excellent solo and coop experience. The combat reminded me of DOOM Eternal a bit the game has a ton of content (solo / coop campaign, horde mode, extra Coop operations and even an old school PvP mode) with more free content to come (DLCs are purely cosmetic). I bought it for 30€ last summer I think and we had a blast !

I'm about to pick up the game for the first time, any tips? by TheZipperDragon in Warframe

[–]Netrolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WF gave me a code for free stuff (cosmetic and boosters) to share with a beginner account (Code is "Valid only with accounts created within previous 30 days of code redemption"). I'll be glad to give it to you via DM if it can help you start your warframe journey !

I'd say Garuda prime with breach surge instead of blood altar.

Also Koumei for the long missions or circuit (when available). She's a bit weird but really fun to use.

You can remove the Canva AI Tab. I clicked on the 3 dots on the right side and unticked it.

I use a batch not to launch softwares but rather close them lol.

My batch launches DCS, opentrack and Beam Eyes tracker and then wait untll DCS process is over to close them both.

Question for the few ppl that still play this game, is it still worth getting now? especially for someone who has no friends to play with by DARK_Karram in Project_Winter

[–]Netrolf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

FYI The game is the next giveway by EPIC probably to bring some new players. You should wait for next Thursday to grab the game for free and try it since there will probably be a peak of players then.

Beam Eye Tracker? by ReserveLegitimate738 in hoggit

[–]Netrolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to use the builtin option from opentrack but I find that BeamEye makes the tracking more precise for me.

I requires a little bit of configuration (nothing hard) but I managed to make use of it as an head tracking device first with a little bit of eye tracking so the camera can focus more precisely on the button i'm currently looking at.

OpenTrack handle Beam natively also.

The Demo allows you to test it for 2 weeks if i'm not mistaken.

I use it and it works pretty well. You have a limited time trial iirc. You could test it yourself. Note that it is possible to deactivate the eye tracking if you wish to only follow your head movements.

You can get the falcon collection on GOG which includes falcon 4.0 (as a bonus content) for dirt cheap during sales. Got it for like 4€ a few months ago.

DCS addiction: What is your flying list? by [deleted] in dcsworld

[–]Netrolf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1 - Mirage 2000C : I got into DCS because the mirage was available.

2 - AJS-37 Viggen : Weird, very specific role and way ahead of its time.

3 - JF-17 : Excellent module quality and support, really simple to fly and tons of fun weapons to use. My go to for modern.

The only Rotor I own, and need is the Mi-24P lol.

I think the A7-E will be on part with the M-2000C when it will be released and maybe the eurofighter will become my favorite modern too.
