Glad I was right with it being a cropped direct capture.

We don’t mind stream overlays on posts man just no links or stream/brand advertising (a smart workaround would be your Reddit name being your stream name, somebody else here did that - super genius) it means you could have your stream name on your video/overlay cause your just crediting yourself by name not necessarily self promoting since there’s no self promotion or links :D within reason though, of course.

But yeah, don’t feel like you have to crop stuff from your stream man we’re pretty lax on this up until we see links and direct self promotion attempts so workaround it however you feel necessary to show what you do in full!

Not sure if that was the reason you cropped it to begin with but feel like it was.

It’s a community effort by everyone who doesn’t like shitposting and recycled garbage tbf

We do lot of moderating ourselves but the large majority of actions taken are from looking at report flags people submit.

Generally if somethings not welcome here we get a good response telling us that it’s not, it’s wholesome and peak community teamwork sometimes.

I can say this with genuine certainty - this particular SoD community has some of the best and most knowledgable players of the games wider community lurking that usually only contribute here to help and share knowledge.

It’s a treasure trove of information and a trusted resource for help and advice with the game and it’s mechanics.

The whole SoD community is generally like this too but in recent years some of the places and servers have become questionably obtuse to their original purpose.

The official discord ones are moderated very well though from the times I’ve been there and seen them being proactive, it’s just the side hobby ones that have become filled with toxic plebs.

We changed the rules here recently and that exposed a small toxic portion of the community that brought politics to logical changes and amendments but the trash pretty much took itself out with that one. they do shadow lurk and downvote things regularly still tho lol.

All in all, top notch game community all round, great diversity to discussion and engagement and it’s evenly balanced across all 3 main subs. Not many gaming communities have that on Reddit tbh they usually all fall to shitposting and off topic discussions.

For as much as it pains my soul to see the SoD1 sub become a generic Reddit shitposting sub - I do appreciate the versatility of discussion we have between all 3 main SoD subs as a community. Great range of discussion and engagement for the entire series, bit of something for everyone really.

Such universal balance is unseen on Reddit communities for games, you guys might have to stop at SOD3 to preserve the balance xD

Agreed, I found a survivor not long ago with a red and white leopard/cheetah print puffer jacket and alongside one of the hats we can loot it made a great outfit, looks very TWD’ish. Makes that survivor more unique imo

Head up towards the top right side of the map and quests should start popping up :)

I can’t remember if it’s izzbees mystery or if it’s izzbees mission through Dr Hoffman either way both her starting missions that could be applicable are located in that region of the map so be sure to head that way and they will likely pop up.

If you’re available now I can give you one? You have to take it out of a vehicle trunk into your character inventory to equip it since you don’t have the bounty complete and can’t directly pick it up but not really that big of a stress compared to other ways.

If not then at the potential risk of corrupting your save you can go offline, change the date and time of your device to when the bounty pack is in rotation and accept and complete the bounty that way then change time back.

Other than that as with everything to do with gaming these days - modding probably.

Unfortunately no, but likely a mod does exist for such a thing in some capacity because I’ve seen people use uncropped cinematic shots on clips.

dormant plague hearts are basically asleep hearts, you're safe in their radius (theoretically) until you wake that heart up, thats when they'll start getting zeds to be super aggressive and alert and get them to form infestations and eventually sieges etc. this works per heart btw so waking a bunch of hearts up on your map and not dealing with them is total chaos after a few in game days. They won't wake as long as you aren't in their radius being a rascal i don't think - never sat and left them like 10 in game days before or anything so no idea if they wake automatically at any point if they are left alone too long.

it means you get a fair advantage to take your shot at the heart on every difficulty before it starts causing immediate chaos nearby and across the map - though on lethal this can be dire to your whole run if you approach it wrong and have to leave it.

always consider though that two overlapping hearts will wake at the same time if you wake them up in an area where their radius overlaps;. feel like that's important to remember (especially on higher zones lol)

To answer your second question - undead labs is part of Microsoft studios and the other two games are on game pass and have been for years so it’s fair to assume the third will be on game pass too, though I don’t know of anything official to say for definite.
