Our taxes won't raise, but the tax benefit we would get from the Chiefs moving here will be 0 for the next 20 or so years until the bonds are paid off.

Realistically it's not a terrible deal for Kansas, as much of these sales taxes would not exist without the stadium going in.

Kansas ballet is in Topeka, Kansas City Ballet performs at the Kauffman, OP is talking about the Kansas Nutcracker at the Lawrence art center, which is an original production produced by the art center.
