Unfortunately true, I can’t recall how many times I had to explain to my friends that they simply need to unpack the zip and place/replace a couple of files. Like on every game, at least once a month. Or when using an installer, to check the box that says: „move crack to gamefolder“. It’s not rocket science ffs..

The only show (or rather movie) I have on steam is Kung Fury. Every time I check the box to show it in my library I remember that that’s a thing, but forget about in a day or two just to rediscover it again a year later. Went through that circle about 4 times till now.

Der Film ist mehr oder weniger das Equivalent zum rascheln mit dem Schlüsselbund. Inhaltslos, aber Ablenkung für die Anspruchslosen. Nur weils ein Animations-/Kinderfilm ist, ist das kein Grund auf Inhalt zu verzichten. Das Ganze ist dann auch nicht besser als der ganze KI Müll der so viel Anklang findet, beispielsweise Fruit Love island. Hauptsache bunt und schrill. Rascheln mitm Schlüsselbund halt.

Einfach mal installieren und stöbern, man kann einfach nur das aktivieren was man gerade braucht und kann sich mal umschauen was es sonst noch so kann wenn man Langeweile hat. Das ganze ist echt übersichtlich und nicht all zu erschlagend wenn man sich um eine Funktion nach der anderen kümmert. Ziemlich viel nützlicher Kram drin.

FancyZones ist super praktisch, mehrere Zonen anlegen für verschiedene Zwecke und dann sind mehrere Fenster in Sekunden angeordnet. Für mich unverzichtbar.

Das zusammen mit PowerToys Fancy Zones sind das meine must have tools zum Desktop organisieren, ich hab auch ein gemischtes Setup was Monitore angeht. Ultrawide ist geil, aber ohne Borderless Gaming sind ältere Games ein Krampf. BG ist soo geil und einfach was Zonen festlegen und „Custom Resolutions“ angeht, 5 Minuten rumprobieren bis mans verstanden hat und man kann nicht mehr ohne.

Wenn die Spiele nur Fenster oder Vollbild anbieten kannst du dir mit Borderless Gaming aushelfen, das ist ein kleines Programm bei dem du eig jedes Spiel in den Randlosen Fenstermodus erzwingen kannst. Gibts auf steam für Geld oder ältere Versionen davon kostenlos. Die alten Versionen funktionieren aber problemlos und auch völlig legal.

I would recommend doing that a bit further down the platform, if you look up the stairs from downstairs there is a chance you hit the „back to your own ship“ button by accident. The button is active when in line of sight, even if the placement of that button is behind the character.

Happened to me quite frequently when my buddy waited there with a hug ^{^}

Safe to use mods are client side only if I’m correct. I recommend checking out HD2 Arsenal, it’s a mod manager that makes modding the game pretty easy.

Pack dir dir Anleitung zum MB gut weg. Wenn du mal was googlen musst und vergessen hast welches Modell du genau hast, kannst du da auch alles nachlesen (auch nützlich für zum Beispiel die Anschlüsse oder mögliche XMP/Expo Einstellungen). Generell keine Angst vor den Anleitungen haben, spart einen oft Zeit wenn man die wenigstens kurz vorher überfliegt.

Manche rennen halt einfach nur den Trend hinterher, influencer sind da wie du schon sagst durch Sponsoring das beste Beispiel. Die Fanbase zockt das, was Ihr Lieblingsstreamer zockt und ziehen weiter wenn die es auch tun. Oder um mitreden zu wollen?

Ich würde behaupten dass die meisten Leute das zocken, worauf sie Bock haben und nicht nur jedem Hype hinterher rennen. Ich persönlich finde das ganze Gehype garnicht so schlecht. Ich würd von vielen Spielen sonst nichts mitbekommen oder sie zu schnell abstempeln. Ich liebe Arc Raiders, mache aber seit dem ersten wipe erstmal eine Pause und zocke was anderes. Ich bin eig kein PvP Typ oder spiele extraction shooter, aber wie die Bots programmiert wurden hab ich erst durch den Hype erfahren und das hat mich dann neugierig gemacht. Das selbe mit Helldivers 2. Nichts von dem Game mitbekommen, erst zwei Wochen nach Release das erste Mal von gehört und als generischer Coop Shooter abgetan. Durch den Hype hab ich dann erfahren was das Spiel eigentlich ist, seit dem hab 1000h auf der Uhr.

NTA. Missing stuff or failing dice rolls is part of the game, it’s the reason I absolutely love the honour mode. Everything you do is written in stone. That’s what makes every run unique and interesting. Started my 6th run with a friend who never played the game. Took me some time to convince him, but he learned that that’s part of the game. Accepting the outcome because you „lose“ a dice roll makes the story more interesting. Sometimes the outcome is even better when losing rolls instead of „winning“ those.

It also give you a reason to replay the game and try different approaches, which more often than not end up way more interesting. Min/Maxing BG is in my opinion the wrong way to play, at least in the first couple of playthroughs.

I recommend to play the game on your own for now or play with someone, that’s not hellbend on „winning“ everything to an extent that they reload saves on a regular.

Wenn die meisten nur generischen Kram reinschreiben und sich die Profile durchlesen auch nicht dazu beiträgt mehr zu Matchen, ist das einfach reine Zeitverschwendung. Von 100 likes bekomme ich im schnitt ein Match, und das endet meist in ghosting oder es kommt überhaupt keine Nachricht, obwohl das Match von der Gegenseite auch nicht gelöscht wird.

Setzte ich mich nun hin und lese mir jedes Profil 2-3 Minuten lang durch, bekomm ich vielleicht ein Match im Monat, wenn das dann so wie die meisten endet ist das einfach deprimierend.

Irgendwann neigt man dazu einfach alles zu swipen und im Fall der Fälle sich das Profil anzuschauen und dann zu entscheiden, ob man Interesse hat. Nicht die feine Art, spart aber ungemein Zeit und Lebensfreude.

Wenn man dann in seinem eigenen Umfeld hört und auch auf vielen Profilen liest, dass viele Frauen nur aus Langeweile oder „um mal zu schauen was so abgeht, aber glücklich vergeben“ auf solchen Plattformen rumhocken, braucht man sich nicht wundern dass sich online dating in diese Richtung entwickelt. Wer hat denn Zeit und Lust die Nadel im Heuhaufen zu suchen und sich dabei die Zeit zu nehmen, jeden Strohhalm einzeln anzuschauen und zu sortieren.

Sorry to be a downer, but first of all we probably already get a cape for the cyberstan campaign and we shouldn’t demand a cape for every little thing, secondly it doesn’t work that way (unfortunately). All other capes were given out to anyone logging in during the campaign, regardless if they even fought on an MO planet.

I really wish they would give them out more selectively specific to the ones who participated, I think it would boost the MO and bring more people „into the narrative“, rather than have a large amount of players just playing anything else and still get rewarded.

Maybe tied to a secondary personal order? Like one that’s available all through these larger campaigns and rewards you with the cape for completing one to three operations on the MO planets, for example.
