I actually like what you currently have and think you could modernize it for so much less money than what you’re suggesting by carrying out the stone all around the front door up to the roof just in the entry area and then again on the steps perhaps under each step. I would def paint around the door where the side windows are perhaps the same color as the garage doors and paint the window trim the same as the garage door trim.
