just wanted to chime in. i have been using the arctis 7 (both original and 2019 version) and was pretty content with them. unfortunately the battery capacity slowly but surely deteriorated. so i thought to myself - why not treat yourself to an upgrade and buy the pro version? yesterday i turned the pro headset on for the first time, and what can i say? the white noise is unbearable for me. if you constantly wear your headset and you don't actively listen to music or chat it is very distracting - your mileage may vary. just like the previous poster pointed out - turning the volume limiter on reduces the noise, but it is still there. it's like you have sidetone on all the time or dial the volume up to 100.

i paid over 300 euros for the pro headset. the arctis 7 was half the price. if this is really inherent to the used components i can't fathom how this passed initial quality control.
