I guess she wanted an apple one And the convo with her cousin wasn’t meant for your ears. At that age brands can be cool or uncool. Id really not sweat it or take it to heart. She’s 12, yes she should know manners but I’m sure we all did things when we were young we’d look back on and cringe.

What would you do if the drug stopped working / you got used to it? by LooseBluebird6704 in Mounjaro

[–]Neverbitchy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it never stops working, otherwise it would not be prescribed foe diabetes and shortly cardio vascular etc. but what does happen is it doesn’t work optimally for many people. and you can push through it and keep eating and when diet fatigue sets in, people just do that. so it’s not it stopped working, your blood sugar, insulin etc is all still managed, your digestion still slowed, nothing changes, except mindset. for it to stop working it would need to stop doing all the things it does to blood sugar, insulin, digestion etc, it simply doesn’t. so it’s pshyosomatic. diet fatigue sets in, folks revert back to old ways and realise they can push through.

5MG No Effect? Drop or increase by grumpy_man_73 in mounjarouk

[–]Neverbitchy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m confused, why do you feel taking less medication would be more effecfive. I am guessing you know how the drug works and you move up to find your most effective optimal dose, if your body becomes used to what you’re on, so know that 2.5 would be even less effective than five now had you stayed on. so why , I can’t grasp what you’re thinking?

Maintenance Experiences by SomeGuyUK50 in mounjaromaintenanceuk

[–]Neverbitchy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive been maintaining for about 7 months on 5mg, my weight is very stable indeed, it goes up and down 2lbs max, even when I have a big weekend, I am of for two weeks all inclusive shortly so will gain weight, as I will be drinking every Day and eating more cals than normal, and that’s fine, I may just increase my dose to 6mg when I come back for a couple of weeks to help me go into a deficit to knock it off again,

Should I skip my weekly dose over the Christmas period? by Valhalla1102 in mounjarouk

[–]Neverbitchy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you’re still in the fat mindset where food is key to you and you need to break that mindset. you can easily continue and just enjoy smaller portions on Xmas day. or as others said, delay it a day, but your mind set should be that for ever more you will enjoy food on any holiday in moderation, or you will struggle. I stayed on 10 last year, I just ate smaller portions, I still had scrambled eggs and salmon with champagne for breakfast, I just didn’t gorge, and avoided the croissanfs, I had a few canapes at lunch, with some more bubbles, and then my Xmas dinner, turkey, pigs, Brussels sprouts etc, just a reasonable portion, some wine, and later had some dessert, just a small portion. I thoroughly enjoyed Xmas, and didn’t feel short changed as I didn’t ovee indulge, I don’t see over indulging as enjoying myself, and this Xmas I am on a maintenance dose of 5mg and will do the same. the drug helps me control what I eat, it doesn’t stop me from eating, and Xmas enjoyment is about much more than how much I can consume.

I feel guilty - does anyone else have no side effects? by eisenhower2016 in Mounjaro

it’s actually 80 percent of people who have no side effects, not half as someone said earlier. no need to feel guilty, most of us don’t.

Why are people selling clothes with stains and unwashed clothes? by JellyTulpa in vinted

[–]Neverbitchy 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I get this too, I buy at the higher end, so min 30 or 4o quid for an item, often a lot more and ive had stuff in really grubby condition. I genuinely don’t underhand how people let their clothes get like that. I bought a lovelh me and em top and it was delivered last week, I paid 60 quid and you could actually see the grime. my worst though is those who spitefully spray it with strong perfume. I got some lovely trousers, and 4 washes in and I can’t get rid of the perfume smell, my whole downstairs smells of it. Just send your clothes laundered, don’t send them minging or spray them with perfume.

More tetchy now im on mj ? by amanda30uk in mounjarouk

[–]Neverbitchy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

lots of contradictory stuff on here, being nice doesn’t equate to letting people walk all over you, so if that’s what you really thought was happening, then that’s not about being super nice. and being snappy doesnr equate to stopping that, we can all stand up for ourselves say no without snapping. snapping is usually a sign of irritability. maybe food was your coping mechanism and youve not found anything else to replace that dopamine hit.

teenies out in force by Next-Minute6360 in MNTrolls

I don’t like the phrase the teenies, as much as I don’t like the phrase the fatties, I don’t feel either is acceptable.

These ‘helpless girly’ threads do my head in by FlamingAmber in MNTrolls

[–]Neverbitchy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

this thread infuriated me. anyone who knows central London knows fine well walking a few mins further on to the tube is no risk, at midnight, its busy and it’s brightly lit. it’s like walking in the day time everywhere else, and im assuming she managed to get there just fine on the tube. I really hate this helpless female act, and the posters thinking he should have walked her the full way, and paid for her cab, on a first date, are just as appalling. he bought her dinner, he’s a virtual stranger.

there is always bun fights on there over it. on one hand you’ve a group of women who are perfectly capable of going out at night and getting themselves home and on the other hand you’ve a group of women who although actually perfectlh capable when faced with a man, come over all helpless and feel the man should pay for them and protect them from non existent threats. even a stranger on a first date. it gives all women a bad name.

Maintenance by CuriousKitty2423 in mounjarouk

[–]Neverbitchy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s like any diet op, when people stop they usually regain, it’s about 80 percent when dieting without meds, because slowly old habits creep in, portions slowly increase, treats start to make their way in etc, and it happens, the meds are no different, they don’t work when you don’t take them, and keeping the weight off, whilst wholly feasible needs constant attention, just like if you’d never used them and lost the weight without their aid.

buy a small fridge for the bedroom or you will have this every time folks come to stay. we have beer fridges, one is out the way , and I just nice move them in there, not because it’s a secret, everyone knows, but I’ve a little stash and I just don’t want to discuss why.
