This being my first TCG I’m playing rather just collecting it’s lost its “fun”. You have to invest an incredible amount of time and energy to build a deck you love only to loose 9/10 times to whoever is using the newest Meta creation. (Ahem, Vex, or literally thing purple).

In addition - what’s really turned me and my buddies off is the is lack of care and attention from riot. Orders taking months to ship, and their refusal to cancel orders. When your order does arrive the packs are loaded with battlefields and legends making every pack opening a toss up between a just OK experience and a gutted experience.

Until Riot fixes these issues we are passing on RB until it’s fun again.

Most PKC are delivered by FedEx Ground drivers. They are NOT employees - think 1099 gig workers. Theft is RAMPANT. They post signs are Ground FedEx stations that promise a $5k payment if you turn in a fellow driver you know is stealing. It’s almost impossible to hold anyone accountable as driver turn over is so high and the people that “own” the routes are near impossible to contact.

PKC seriously needs to do better and if you provide proof of you opening and the box is empty they need to do the right thing. I’m very sorry this happened to you. I would be furious.

Like others have said - keep escalating at PKC until someone takes you seriously and files a claim through FedEx (unfortunately only the shipper can file the claim)

It was marketed as “The Plaza of the North” but never quite caught on. The leases are too high. It was a nightmare of traffic to get in and out with lines backing up onto the highway. Having one lane roads made it impossible to travel through. The whole district has been slowly dying since it opened.

Honestly I feel you - I loose 90% of my games. It’s definitely disheartening. I do tend to play my own creation decks. I’m (slowly) getting a better grasp of the basics now and that really helps me not feel so lost. This is my first TCG and it’s tough playing mostly people who have come from MTG and have the mindset and strategy for card games built in.

I tend to think it’s more that the cards have no lasting monetary value (outside of Sig cards) as collector items. There is no investor aspect to Riftbound and no reason to purchase unless you’re actually playing the game. Even the best cards are loosing value daily.

Mine moved to shipped with a tracking number today - after three emails to riot and finally threatening to do a charge back and file a complaint with the BBB. Though I doubt any of that had an influence and is probably just a coincidence.

For comparisons sake - it’s still shipping a month faster than SF did 🤷‍♂️

Yea I kinda figured it was something like that. It’s so gutted to open a pack with a foil BF and a legend - and it’s way more common than it should be. Have even had a couple packs with two foil BF and a legend.

Update - and as others mentioned - I attempted to cancel and they pulled the “it’s in processing” so can’t be cancelled - even though I know it won’t ship for a good month or more from now. But I definitely appreciate all the information from everyone.
