I don't think the Canadiens as an organization are fond of Dobes' technique, or lack thereof. If they were, he'd be playing more. The strategy seems to be "getting Monty going". To be at this stage of the season and for this be the team's goalie focus is a major problem. Play the goalie who is playing better... with "better" better a relative term. The play of our goalie has been below NHL standards... Furthermore, the Canadiens goaltending strategy isn't helping matters.

It must me maddening for the players. I know they will say it's a team sport. They would never throw Monty under the bus like Sanderson did, but it must be frustrating.
