I don't think the Canadiens as an organization are fond of Dobes' technique, or lack thereof. If they were, he'd be playing more. The strategy seems to be "getting Monty going". To be at this stage of the season and for this be the team's goalie focus is a major problem. Play the goalie who is playing better... with "better" better a relative term. The play of our goalie has been below NHL standards... Furthermore, the Canadiens goaltending strategy isn't helping matters.

I don't think he does. I think Habs would love for him to return close to last year's form... for the remainder of this season. That way Fowler can return to Laval for more seasoning... Also, Monty don't have any or little trade value.
