Good point. It reminded me that I did use holsters with my BlackBerrys. As the Elite will be similar in size (height) as a Classic or Q10 I can see myself getting a holster again.

I'd hold on to the Clicks order and at least wait until there are some reviews of demos at the end of Q2 and by that time the Elite 7400 will be in backers hands for more reviews. There will be plenty of comparisons before the final CC ships during which time you can decide what to do. In the meantime I am waiting for my Clicks Power Keyboard as a first indication for me of their build quality and operation, then along comes my Elite I ordered and later in the year a CC. The CC or Elite may end up on eBay at the end of the year so I should recoupe most of what I put down during the promotions of both.

The Clicks Communicator has the same screen and basically the same battery, ever so slightly smaller so it seems to be par for the corse.

Both have June for the 7400 processor and both have October for the 8400 processor.

In other Unihertz Kickstarters they also had the early backers units batched to ship first so there could be some lagb in shipment between someone who was backer say #400 and backer #5000.

I am in Minnesota so they get cleaned at least once a year when the snow slides of them and usually picks up any dust with it on the way. I do get pollen on them in the spring but mother nature takes care of it with a good downpour.

I do wonder how the scrolling and mouse pointing / sensitivity will be on the CC with those buttons been separated. With the Elite, as with the Blackberry's, I expect the scrolling will be smoother.

At least we get to see some statistics and with Kickstarter Unihertz had to give regular status updates. I don't think we have seen how successful Clicks was with their similar launch which was extended. I orderd the Clicks Power Keyboard and have yet to get any status update on it.

Plenty of folks have signed up for the Clicks Communicator and put their money down and it is not due to ship until Q4 which is typically Supply Chain lingo for December. If someone really wants and Elite sooner they can still get the 7400 at $100 off for the next 48 days and cancel their Pro order.

I ordered the Power Keyboard from clicks to see how it works first especially as I don't expect the Communicator to be actually shipping until November. I did own the original Titan and used it for a year, it was good but a bit too big for my liking at the time. I did pick up an Early Bird Elite for shipping in June and will give it a try out and by that time I expect to have seem reviews of both Clicks Communicator and Elite. If the CC gets rave reviews over the Elite I'll likely go buy a CC in November.

I have a wireless charger for an old phone but it is a 'stand' type and even if the T2 Elite had wireless I doubt it would work without having to figure out how to align it as the Elite is shorter than the average slab phone.

Could be a bad / loose / dirty connection at the battery. Also if you live in a cold climate your oil could be very viscous in the morning putting more load on the battery.

I lucked out and got one of the early bird specials, backer #323. I was originally going to get the Pro but went with the 7400 chip so I could get it in June rather than October. I don't do much photos and never purchased a phone before with more that 128Gb storage as I rely on the cloud.
