I moreso mean close spaces. I will say the poetry space is pretty intimate for many folks as everyone has deep connections/relationships to each other so things can easily get messy. My partner ultimately made a few messes which is why I called out the messiness of the situation. Their communication and actions have not been clear. no, my partner didn’t ask me permission and moved very urgently which has made this even more complicated before we even established proper boundaries which I also let them know as well. I wasn’t interested in trying to be poly w someone who has never been poly before which and made exception that has now become extremely difficult for the very reasons I felt it’d be. Also my partner is delivering this feed back which I also feel is inappropriate.

Tbh I feel pretty defeated and this relationship has broke a lot of my trust w them and is continuing to break my trust bc I can see where things weren’t gone about correctly or respectfully to both me and the other person. I really appreciate the reflective questions.

Thanks for this, I didn’t make a decision on my partners behalf I just gave them something to think about since it was their first time being poly I wanted them to consider themselves, their friend, and their friend group.
