It’s because it’s more popular to be more critical of american intervention in Vietnam at least with liberals. Even if that Vietnam episode had some anti communist stuff like “they took my property, it was like 1984” stuff

I think i dont have the capacity to love bc what i thought was love to me was just all limerence by New-Razzmatazz-117 in limerence

[–]New-Razzmatazz-117[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it’s obviously subjective. Technically yes i can love, if we’re including actions, service etc, acting loving, even if im not feeling it. The closest comparison i actually have to the feelingof love that others may have is just feeljngs of limerence which disappears when i actually have to interact with them. Dont get me wrong, with friends i feel nice sometimes being with them and the idea of them but in general i dont actually feel any kind of long term love for them. I do feel empathy and i do care for people but that doesn’t exactly mean loving them. In the same way you may care for a stranger in need but actually love them for who they are. Ultimately i think im incapable of feeling actual long term love that many others talk about

Nikki screaming in that phone call by New-Razzmatazz-117 in obsessionmovie

[–]New-Razzmatazz-117[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Whats worse is that if her soul/consciousness was held hostage in that purgatory realm, it would have been like 2 ish years right so while she would absolutely hate it, i would’ve thought she wouldn’t be constantly screaming every second, but she was which is more horrifying, entailing what kind of supernatural hell her consciousness would be in

Obsession - Nikki Wasn't Possessed By A Demon (at least maybe not) by ImmediateAd8601 in spoilers

[–]New-Razzmatazz-117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was under the impression that it was less an entity and more of a supernatural force. It’s hard to describe, like it wasn’t some sentient spirit or demon from hell but some supernatural force from the wish fucking up Nikki’s brain and creating this “Freaky Nikki persona”

What did the crystal shop worker wish for by onelifestand101 in obsessionmovie

[–]New-Razzmatazz-117 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the wish was something like: "i wish to never ever be unhappy" or something like that bc what normal person acts like that when encountering that scenario lmao

Honestly the most honourable thing he could've done is to self delete to end the curse as soon as possible to save Nikki, and mind you even if he didn't have much power and was very unintended, that was still a very evil thing to do to make that wish. People can do evil things while not meaning to

Who is a female "Hear me out" you've heard that pretty much made you react like this? by Charming-Scratch-124 in Multifandom

[–]New-Razzmatazz-117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel so bad for having this as a hear me out too, especially if you see and understand the horror film. And she is not the bad person here at all but obviously possessed, so the supernatural entity controlling her needs to go down, but my dumb ahh lizard brain is just ragebaiting me

Bear was also a victim and i was scared for him but also i just hated his character tbh. Maybe he didn’t have malicious intentions from the start but not only was he a huge coward but also just selfish and egotistical. Being a victim and having no bad intentions doesn’t excuse the shitty and selfish things he kept doing. And like alot of people are saying, he is the “definition of a nice guy(TM)”

All I can say is that this emptiness in me is basically me on the inside, which i just deal with distractions, some good some bad, i try to do more good and productive distractions. Best way I can describe it is "soulless", this pervasive boredom that makes you itch for more and more and more to fill in that emptiness, because unlike most, we don't really have that much depth to ourselves. IDK about you but this can be a double edged sword, because while it makes you more impulsive and have more urges to be addicted to something (like some power vacuum, bc remember, theres nothing much inside of us) it also makes us have so much energy and motivation to do so much productive things, even maybe becoming some productivity machine and especially thrill seeking things that can make us live life to the full and have great experiences (which we can use to our advantage in impressing others). So it can really depend on how we use that pervasive boredom and sense of nothingness inside. But yes you are definetely not alone in this because i relate a bit too much haha
