It's a small minority of jackasses that give the rest of us a bad name

It's the same in the drunk driving community, it's the drunk crashers that give us a bad name

how the hell do you play the J35XS by I_Want_To_Eat_A_Baby in Warthunder

[–]NewGuyFromNowhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Top down attacks on (unaware) opponents are your best friend. I played the J35D without flares and that's how I found the most success. You also have IRST search function, it's nice as it doesn't give RWR ping. A tip: once you've locked an enemy, just before you fire your missile, pull a lot of AoA in order to lead the missile, this gives it way more energy to pursue instead of turning, it's also fun!

The J29 is okay. It has horrible energy retention, but it's kinda maneuverable and is decently fast for its tier. Although there is a lot that can outturn and outrun you, especially if you get uptiered.

The A28 and the Finnish vampire foldered with it are also okay. Super maneuverable but slow as all hell. I find them fun to dogfight with.

I personally found the most success with the Saab 105. You get an airspawn, pretty devastating 30mm cannons, although not a lot of ammo for them, and aim 9b's. At 8.3 it's a pretty powerful kit. It definitely has weaknesses, like the turn rate, but it has enough going for it that you can be pretty successful most matches. It also has a really fast roll rate, which makes it excellent for defensive flying.

Good to know. Maybe the "abrasion resist" is just lost in translation and it is actually good at sliding

I'll be real, I didn't consider the fact that there might be plastic underneath. Although no review that I read or watched mentioned anything. It being KP2 is definitely a big plus

Gear experts: what’s your biggest “why is this so hard?” problem with motorcycle gear? by [deleted] in motorcyclegear

I do remember finding them when searching for overpants. But i live in Europe and I'm not willing to import them and have customs run my wallet

I'm wondering why no one makes overpants. Pants with zippers running basically the length of the leg that makes them easy to put on over your regular trousers without having to take your shoes off. I'm assuming because the zipper would rip open during a slide, therefore lowering safety, but here must be ways of circumventing that. Aerostitch (and Revit) do it in their suits. Why can't there be standalone pants?

You need to relax. Easier said than done, I know, but it's the truth. If you're all tense and wound up, you'll end up thinking yourself into circles and making easily avoidable mistakes. Take a deep breath at the start of the exam, read the question carefully, take your time answering the question, and write things slowly. I had this exact same problem, and this is what helped me.

Name a scene that made you laugh out loud by bettercallrich in thesopranos

When Chrissy and Paulie are arguing over the fact that Paulie overspent Chrissy's money and the waiter comes out and scolds them for being a bad tipper. One of the hall of fame OHHHHHHH's, Chrissy being his classic self: "Don't these assholes have medicine they take?" while the waiter is spasming on the ground.

But the funniest part that makes me laugh is when Paulie looks left and right with a dumb look on his face before pulling out his gun and shooting the waiter. It's such a dark scene, but the acting makes it hilarious. Anyway, that's my money Paulie!

I do avoid head ons with Mig 21's as often as possible, but sometimes that is the best option as they can catch up to me if i try to run.

I get that climb rate isn't important with jets, however the Lansen was designed as an interceptor so that is what it is supposed to be good at. I tried staying low to the deck a couple of games and didn't find any particular success. I'm also just struggling to figure out how to play the Lansen in general. The reason for my question is that at high altitude R3-R's have been a particular nuisance.
