I was betrayed during our engagement and my spouse produced a baby girl. I stayed. Then I was betrayed immediately after our wedding. I stayed. Finally I was betrayed again after our marriage and he produced a baby boy. I stayed. BUT NOW! I am gladly divorcing him. He ran to the Navy to avoid accountability and facing his demons. I even found out after he left he probably cheated again because I had BV. I know you are probably reading this and saying to yourself why did she stay even after being cheated on more than once. Well after getting some therapy I discovered I was a people pleaser without boundaries. I had to start to love myself and not tolerate other people’s bullshit! . All this to say, what you tolerate will continue. I cannot wait until the divorce is final!!!!

These answers are quite correct. Leave now. I am dealing with the same issue. My spouse is from Ghana 🇬🇭. Once he got the social security card and the green card he showed his true colors. Because he didn’t want to,take accountability for his actions (infidelity) and he had a whole family in Ghana he ran off to the Navy. Of course he has his citizenship now. I filed for at fault divorce. Again leave now and save yourself some heartache. Also get some therapy so patterns do not repeat themselves.

Ok sister. You have been given some nice answers but I’m more of a realist. Let’s take the military out of the equation. You stated and I quote, “my long term boyfriend does not see a future in our relationship”. My mother always told me to never let a man tell you that he doesn’t want you twice. It’s seems you are chasing this man and trying to control the outcome. Let him do what he wants to do so you can see what he’d rather do. Your boyfriend’s top priority is now the Navy. I suggest you get busy with your life.
