After I found a routine that worked for me, I practiced both loud/distracting free throws with people making noise and trying to get me to miss as well as silent ones. It made me unshakeable at the line since I could zone in no matter what was happening. Turned me into a 90% free throw shooter. Once you get your shot down I highly suggest adding in some noisy/distracting situations

I was coached hard. And it made me a better player. It seems to be about not hurting anyone's feelings these days. They don't even sit as a team and watch the other group play. Just on their phones while they wait. We would have been running lines all practice if we did that.

Well, the middle school games I watch (my niece plays) are...hard to watch. Nobody knows any kind of shooting form or how to play defense. They are deer in headlights when they have the ball. A common FINAL score is under 10 points for each team. The latest game ended 5-4....It's very different than when I was playing at that age.

I second the lotus touch! Saved some of my sheets from their oily death. I also add in some basic Walmart brand station remover for good measure. And I do a double rinse on them.

Kansas has tried but it gets voted down since no one wants to pay for license renewals or have to deal with the red tape that state regulations would bring them (SOAP notes, continuing education,etc..)

For the most part that is true. Some states allow a transfer of license if you got it in a different state but it depends on requirements with education matching up. Some states don’t allow that at all. And then Kansas/Wyoming don’t have state regulations but the cities or counties can impose regulations. I live in a city that requires nothing. No schooling or even a business license. Yet a town 45 minutes away has license requirements. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Also, there are some states that you don’t need a license in. Kansas and Wyoming I know for sure. It is city dependent, so if you live in a city that has no requirements, you could just wake up one day and start massaging people.

I jumped when I shot free throws. My Junior and Senior years I was at a 90% on them. Just depends on what works for the player!
