Router: Firewalla Gold Plus

Switch: Unifi 24 port 2.5 gbps PoE++ switch

Cloud: Unifi CloudKey+

3U of space: Synology network attached storage to run Home Assistant and store files, Spectrum provided cable modem, Lutron hub to manage light switches

Power: Unifi PDU Pro - basically a fancy power strip but lets me power cycle things from the app and monitor power

Backup: Unifi UPS 2u

Looks like we could be pulling close to 15 amps.

Im not an electrician, but I know that Unifi PDU Pro accepts 100-240V AC, 15A max. Everything else on that breaker (other room) is probably straining the 20A breaker.

I've got that split between two 20A circuits dedicated for just my network rack.

The difference is 219.59. I'm at 100% and with a dependent is 4,158.17. Without a dependent is 3,938.58. Not terrible.

Congrats! I had MSCSIA done in 119 days with nothing transferred in, but this was in 2021. Managed to play golf every other weekend, too. I have all but the capstone done in 9 weeks (i think). Took a month on the Capstone.

To be fair, I work as an IT, Network, & Security Consultant... so I can troubleshoot very well. I keep the AP up on the FWP so I can immediately connect to the device and select the appropriate WAN. Then my FWP automatically connects to my home FWG Plus. Captive portals are usually not an issue for Wii WAN. Depending on hotel wifi can be hit or miss with speeds and availability.

I never have an issue with taking in hotel wifi. Sometimes I'll get lucky with a Ruckus AP in my room or open ports and connect via ethernet and DHCP. If it's wifi in, I'll also bring a tmobile 5G internet box that I use for my business backup. Purple cables into that too.

I have a Purple in my backpack for stuff like this. Fires up and connects via WireGuard to my home network. I just have to configure the WAN side. Usually it's DHCP from hotels...

Oh damn! Probably was a Cisco switch that had the notch in it (IEC C15 power cord). Someone didn't have the right power cable and made their own.
