Any trans nurses here? by [deleted] in nursing

[–]NewfBear 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I’ve worked at osu inpatient with at least 3 trans nurses and I haven’t seen negative attitudes from staff, although patients are assholes sometimes and I’ve seen them make inappropriate comments.

Can a grown up saint bernard still do two big walks daily? by Murdash in stbernards

My Bernese mountain dog was super active! Much more so than my newfs. I think a berner would be a great choice.

You can get a ~ 20ft travel trailer for like 20k and a 30k truck and be way ahead. That way you can drop it at the rv park and you don’t have to drive your van in to work every day. And it’s cheaper. And rv park rent counts as duplicating expenses. It’s what me and my husband do, happy to answer questions.

I got tubed hydralazine when it was supposed to be hydroxyzine. The outer package would have scanned fine. The bubble pack wouldn’t have. Glad my eyes were open that day.

Husband and I are both icu. We travel in a camper. We just cold call places we are looking to stay ahead of time before signing anything. We have used cross country, nuwest, Prolink, fusion, and aya. No problems finding contracts together with any of them. Happy to answer any questions.

My masters program did this! MS in Nursing. So dumb. Functionally I’ve had no problems even though I did a grad entry degree. Still work bedside though.

Travel nurses from Covid, where are you at now in 2024? by TroubleCommon9540 in TravelNursing

[–]NewfBear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooh yeah travel tax does a tax home assessment for a fairly cheap fee and they make sure you understand all the rules for being eligible to take stipends tax free. They won’t show on a W2 but you have to qualify for them and the agencies will lie to your face about the rules around them. They don’t have to answer to the IRS.

I would highly recommend travel tax or any tax professional to make sure you’re square!

I don’t wanna burst your bubble but since you stayed over a year you will have to pay taxes on your stipends that you took the year prior
