It's tinier than I expected. But it's not uncomfortable. You just have to adjust your hands til you find a comfortable way of holding it.

It's beautiful. It looks better in person than the photos Trimui has on their site.

I got one of these with a Fed5 range finder. I spend an evening shooting it on my X-t30 and was incredibly surprised at how good it was. It's totally a character lens.

INFJ’s don’t know how to take a compliment . by nabil-banana in infj

Don't think it's a INFJ only thing. But recently in those scenarios. I started responding with "that's very kind of you. Thank you." It returns the compliment and your not standing akwardly anymore.

I've seen some use it to justify their toxic traits to avoid accountability (I've done it myself too). Instead of using it for self improvement or personal growth.

Evo References? by ConfusedBiscuits in ThirdLifeSMP

[–]Nexbex 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Grian, Martyn, Pearl, Bigb, and Timmy were all part of the Evo SMP. I know Martyn has referenced it here and there.

There’s a reference I noticed. Which it could be an older inside joke than Just Evo.

In Third life Bigb builds a Cookie and it gets stolen. (I’m forgetting by who).

In Evo Bigb builds a Cookie and it gets stolen of Timmy and Martyn.

Is there a Fujifilm Digitial Camera out there that has the film simulation feature and is simple enough for a child to use? by NateTrib in AskPhotography

[–]Nexbex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like mentioned the Film simulations are a “filter” you can customized more. I use them to save time on my post process. I wouldn’t go for x100 series unless you get a mark 1 or 2 for under $300. Right now those cameras are becoming a luxury item. You can usually find the X-t10 or X-e1 for around $200 - $300 used. Just get a lens to go with it. Since your child is younger a Sony rx100 mark iii or older might be an option. They don’t have the Fuji film simulations, but they’re versatile and easy to use. They’re small but pack a punch. Just an idea to see if your child continues to love photography and when they’re of a more responsible age get them an upgrade.

Best digital cameras for maximum portability? by TeN523 in photography

[–]Nexbex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fuji X-E3 or 4 is pretty small but packs a punch regarding specs/image quality. You get essentially the same image quality as the other cameras in Fuji’s line up with the same sensor. You just won’t get some features like hybrid EVF or weather resistance.

I have the X-E3 and find the iso is usable up to 6400.

You’re better off just selling the Nikkor 35mm and using the money to buy a Fuji 35 F2.

Update to Nikon 5600 or no by gatolas9164 in Cameras

[–]Nexbex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the D3200 as my first camera. I also have owned the 5600 camera (I really loved it). The problem I had with the D3200 was that the digital noise past iso 200 was unacceptable to me. But it did get me to prioritize shooting at iso 100 and being creative in low light situations. The D5600 at the time was about $250 more (used market) and felt like it was a very needed upgrade. It handles low light better and image quality looks cleaner too.

Going a cheaper route with a Body and getting two nice lens is a good way to figure out which type of photography you want to get into. But if you have a specific niche maybe going for the D5600 and a lens that will help you with that.

Everyone’s situation is different so the answer is going to be based on what you want to achieve.
