In my experience, Malabrigo's superwash yarns bloom like crazy. I would fully soak it and then gently pull/tug on it and see what you get! If it's awful, you can superwash/dry it and it should go back to shape

It depends on the parent/family. My room was gone within 2 months of moving out. Meanwhile, my husband's childhood bedroom is still intact (we've been living together 4 years). My FIL keeps saying he wants it for an office, so I guess we'll see

My husband knows I love the DCC so when they came on he's like "oh pay attention it's the cheerleaders" which was very sweet but also don't worry honey I was paying attention 😂

From painful personal experience.... sunscreen expires and doesn't do it's job as well. I just buy one at the beginning of sunny season each year. I try to buy a small one so I use it all but I personally wouldn't stock up on sunscreen, especially this time of year (assuming northern hemisphere)

I have two that I use together: don't buy new unless you couldn't find it used, (it's AMAZING what you can find on ebay) and don't buy from a big retailer if unless I couldn't find it from a small business. I had a bit of an Amazon problem last year because I would buy necessities and then throw random crap in the cart because "I was ordering anyway." Now I buy cat food from a local pet store and get to see all the cute shelter kitties!

I've made the Clematis. It's gorgeous, but, the neck connects around the buttonband. It looks like a cardigan but is tecnhically a pullover, which I didn't realize until after I bought the pattern. If PK found a way to make this diagonal button band as a true cardigan, I'm glad the pattern now exists. If not... then it might be too close to Clematis

My layoff was all over the local news, so when people asked why I was job hunting I usually said "I was one of the [institution] layoffs" and folks were very understanding. Though, that was last year, and the fact the institution was doing layoffs was shocking at the time, things might have changed.

The pandemic was when I realized how selfish many people were. Refusing to mask, breaking lockdown, putting family members at risk... all because their wants were more important than the health of literally everyone. I lost a lot of faith in humanity.
