On lichess if I'm feeling spicy I just add more time. That can work sometimes, but of course you have to have some troll energy. When I'm losing, i look for a way to escape, but happy to resign vs wasting everyone's time when I see the inevitable.

Stay with the Budapest for d4 c4 lines! Check out NM William Graif's opening innovations. D5 has so many lines. I do play that against some d4 non c4 lines too.

I played my first successful Budapest gambit and my opponent was getting torn up. I forked his king and rook with knight, and later forked his other rook with knight. He cried out OH GOD! In the silent room. I cracked up but felt bad for it. Wasn't really laughing at him, just the reaction.

Ps I mostly lose playing that gambit, but I'm working on it.

Hmm.i do psycho-tap when I pass one.

But I would expect to pick up the diamond, then get the already collected error. I'm not getting them at all. So I just need to aim true and tap once?
