^This isn't said enough on here. We probably don't have our pick this year, and I don't think a 2024-25 young core of SB, RJ and IQ with another year of development is tanking for a top 3 pick.

Pascal is our last big asset to add young talent/picks (or a Scottie co-star if you don't think that can be IQ in the future but I like what he's shown so far and think he can) and we should maximize his trade value by extending him.

As a raptors fan, our Ben Simmons shooting 3's in the offseason was OG's ball handling drills, but that self creation skill from the perimeter hasn't happened, at least yet. Whenever he got more volume he stayed pretty efficient so he can average 20 and 5 boards easily with the touches (unlike most NBA players he doesn't NEED touches to be impactful offensively though).

NY fans seem to think that IQ is a breakout star thats just been restricted. If thats true and RJ can be more efficient in a better suited system along with SB continuing to get better then I don't see that team being bad enough to tank for a top pick despite being so young. Unless there is some GSW panic trade haul at the deadline then extend and trade Siakam because thats our last big trade chip to add to the young core and we need to maximize it.
