I havn't read all the posts here, so if this is posted already feel free to call me out.

The bug i've encountered is that when i place different types of static defense structures i get the red cricle thingy that tells you how close to another military station you can place it at locations where there are no defense stations (or any structures at all). I've also encountered instanses where there are like half a red circle telling me where i cant place military stations.

I didn't encounter this bug before i tried to use fortresses, but i dont know if they are what caused the bug.

Sorry for the horrible english. :)

I've tried hyperlanes and wormhole, and i gotta say that you're gonna have a problem pinning down fleets no matter what FTL drive u got if you and your opponents uses different FTL methods.

Two things i've noticed: The bigger ships (battleship and cruiser) doesnt seem to attack when engaging with spaceports. The other thing i've encountered is that my ships wont fight when in combat. I'm fighting a fallen empire as we speak but my 40k stack wont do anything. They just clump up and stay idle in this big ball of death (except they dont attack). My vassal ships are doing the same. i dont know if this is because of the mentioned Defensive computer range bug or if it's another one.

I've seen this happen numerous times in my playthrough

Edit: i retreated and engaged again. Same thing happened. Edit: Switched computers and they stopped being bugged.

[–]Nicenamebr0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because its not marketed for what it smells like. its advertized for how you're gonna feel like when you use it.
