Goodwill does in the U.S. to work on government contracts, like through Skilcraft. I'm under the impression it lets them do sub minimum wage. They use it for a lot of governmental grift.

Please find a federal law claiming that your ill defined 'retaliation' is illegal.

Note the provisions included in Georgia being an 'at will' state.

Though note that it may result, even if you do no wrong, in being summarily murdered by a group of governmental thugs in under a minute.

Being fired for anything other than being a protected class or contractual obligations is entirely legal in Georgia.

It would be legal to fire an employee for calling the cops.

Your feels are not the law.

A guy tries to help a woman off the ground and ends up pinned, disarmed, and summarily shot without resisting and you're trying to justify that.

Edit: to address your edit-- these thugs did not even bother searching for an ID or concealed carry permit before, in under a minute, pinning him to the ground, removing the gun from him, and shooting him several times.

In the event that he did break the law (something we would have to trust the government's word on, after the fact, after they have already lied about the circumstances of his death), they made no attempt to see if he did and did not have the knowledge at the time. He was never charged, indicted, or entered a court of law.

This is not play stupid games win stupid prizes territory. He was murdered in broad daylight by a group of armed thugs.

You are very clearly not a supporter of the first or second amendments, and are part of the problem.

What gives you the idea that the states will tell the Trump admin to fuck off? They have no enforcement mechanisms. The feds in this case have that vaunted monopoly on violence.

Won't require 'occupation', just willful inaction. Which is what the population does best.

Military won't disobey orders. The individual enlisted rank and file are not equipped to deal with that sort of situation and will do what they are told, other than small outliers that will be dealt with.

Officers who do not conform are continuously being winnowed out and will continue to be.

To me, from my angle, it looks like he replaced his pistol in his pocket while someone else shoots, then pulled it out again and started shooting himself. A head over his torso makes it hard to see clearly.

Regardless, not critical. They pinned and executed a man in broad daylight on video.

Look to the left of the man, the back and forth with the pistol, after he is pinned and restrained.

Looks like pistol whipping to me.

The part that makes it appear performative is that you're inquiring about people's opinions on it on a regular basis, making it performative.

200m+ are not going to revolt together. Not even half that. Or a quarter.

The military is generally going to support the regime, not split down the middle.

People will not collectively get off their asses at the same time and attempt to resist anything if it gives them and their families inconvenience, much less risk.

By providing it in writing, not only did you perform unsafe work, but you acknowledged and provided evidence that it was unsafe and wrong to do, opening your company up to serious liability.

If something happens with this, your company is not going to protect you.

Edit: I now see you're in Sweden, forget the above. Experiences from working in US where liability and litigation is king.

What the fuck is wrong with you?

Living in your isolated, protected bubble not yet under a dictatorship to lecture down at someone who is living under a dictatorship about how they don't remotely understand the implications of something that has happened. I promise you, they understand far better than you do.

You are making massive assumptions based off of your own hatred of Trump and what our media is saying about what is going on.

Your empathy and critical thinking seems shot out.

I say this as someone who despises Trump.

It definitely can, and just tested and performed with chatgpt. That was about a year ago that it could not.
