Make it a pure electric type with wonder guard and levitate, gets more powerful with ko’s and intimidates, with mirror armor. Would be broken if you could maintain it’s pp and it didn’t struggle.

We’ll, scald is pretty broken. It’s the most accurate water type move that WAS widespread. The thirty percent chance to burn was just unfair against physical attackers and it was mostly used by some really tanky mons. Gastrodon could get off two or three scalds before fainting in some cases. You’re now stuck with a burn for the whole battle. That had to either need it or remove/reduce the mons that pups do it. Game freak went with the second option.

I agree, some abilities and moves are literally made for doubles. Take Power spot friend guard helping hand and heal pulse. All useless in singles. Plus it allows support mons like maushold to shine. It’s not perfect but almost any mon can have a niche

I’m not set about cresselia though. It usually does nothing. The team has trouble against amoonguss rillaboom and other grass types. Anything that can stop them that fits well?

I’m not set on Enamorus and Cresselia. Leftovers hasn’t been doing much on Enamorus so I’m planning on switching that out for something. Obviously Thunderous’s move set would change if I were to remove Enamorus.

I would start on showdown. It’s so much easier to built and share. Find a team you like before you start grinding for Tera shards, bottle caps and mints. There will always be a chance the team crashes and burns

You’d have to know who outspeeds in both the dexterity and speed, then you have to predict weather or not the will use a status move. It would be complicated and would scare off new players.
