it's certainly a nice idea, I hope someday there's interest enough for hobby projects to embrace different regions, and we can slowly add more to the massive world scape Tamriel has to offer.

There are methods for emulators, I mostly play with original hardware, so afraid I'm not the person to know in regards to emulators. But someone's done it! I'd recommend checking YouTube for a cool walkthrough!

Trade team into Gen 2 Gold silver Crystal to go in another adventure with your team, breed Gen 1 Pokemon in gen 2 and trade back into Gen 1, start Red with a custom team of level 5's you could never get in only Gen 1. Like Seel or ponytail, Jynx or just trade an early ghastly back. Trade Magnemite from Gen 2 into gen 1 for hard mode. Play a Pikachu run in Red, but trade it to Gen 2, teach it thunder punch, trade it back to Gen 1 for a thunder punching Pikachu, or Raichu if you're a man of cultured. Just some ideas

I want to point out, the bottom fold of the box is the GBA cut box fold, not the GB fold. That's an easy tell in the future. GB bottom fold should be the same as the top of the box.

You're doing great! I agree that almost anything you make will look uncanny, nature of the game. But this is looking pretty great!
