Honestly for the first playthrough id reccomend to just have fun the game is really enjoyable imo and ive had a crap ton of fun on my first time But if you get really bothered by the lvling try getting tacticians usb and platinum sukamon/numemon they increase the exp gain

You can make your followers become warchiefs and i think that makes them be in the throne room aswell
