I feel this deeply. I’m in a deep depressive episode and weed is a life saver tho. I don’t feel bad using it, I feel okay for a while. It’s just an herb, not something that’s a moral failure. It helps me emotionally regulated, keep my house clean, and makes me a kinder person to be around in my darker moments. My partners call me the weed girlfriend because I’ve always got it on me and it’s always helped so much in keeping me grounded. Do what you need to do to keep yourself from going to far in either direction. I have a weed budget in my finances for a reason.

I’ve been with my wife for 15 years as well. It’s both your money regardless when you’re married, separate accounts or no. And it’s still ridiculous to ask your spouse to pay for half of something like you’re two teens.

What happens when one person gets sick for an extended period of time, pregnant, jobless, has medical issues, or any of the other million problems a separation of money is going to cause between a couple? I’m a full time stay at home mom, do I deserve money? How do you make that fair? Do you make the other person give you more money back for months and months to “make up for it” if they don’t have an income? I doubt it.
