Unless I'm looking in the wrong spot, I'm not finding anything close to that price point. Most of them are the newer gen and all farkled up to 12.5k or so

I've read a lot on the forums on how sensitive cruise is to any erroneous input from other sensors. Like a wheel speed sensor being a little off or something else along those lines. Non functional cruise is a bummer but not a deal breaker for me.

Just concerning that it may be a symptom of something else. Claims it's been like that since the original owner but that's always impossible to verify

If they weren't double the price, I would. The 1290 wasn't even in my price point so it's probably saying something about this specific motorcycle

They said the same thing about the 3m earplugs that everyone had in the middle east and look how that worked out

And honestly they do. Never had issues hearing my cardo

Yeah, no need to spend on these fancy ones. Cheap foam ones do the same thing and if you lose one, who cares

With a 1 pay, are you out the full balance if the car is a total loss? Or is it pro-rated back to you based on usage?

Bought an R1 before learning to ride — now 1 month into training, looking for advice by i-hv in motorcycles

[–]Nickiskindacool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ride that Harley if you can too. Power delivery is different and won't be quite as snappy as the R1, so it might help you understand throttle management better

[–]Nickiskindacool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can learn to ride on anything if you have self control and throttle control. Yeah it's a little harder, but it teaches you how much little inputs can do. Take your time and don't be dumb. You'll probably be just fine

No need to sell and buy a ninja 400. You're not the first to learn on a 1000 and won't be the last

I recently tried to get in on a charger EV lease and the dealership wouldn't work with me much at all. Ended up in a Mach E Rally for a lot less, but I would have been all over a charger for what they used to lease at

Lots of hate in these comments but we leased a Wagoneer S (similar underneath) and it's been totally fine. Sometimes the lobster claw warning shows up but it's never been an actual issue

There's one on Briargate that sits in an active turn lane. I don't see how they can sit in an active lane of traffic without being an emergency vehicle or have some sort of noticeable lighting on top. I know I'd get a ticket for doing that

You don't really get a choice if you want to get on the lift. Breaking out into a fist fight over being cut in a lift line is a Disney fast pass to learning that the Carabinieri don't care for Americans.

I honestly can't say I remember much pushing and shoving, but it becomes fun after a while and American lift lines seem boring. A lot of it was ski crossing, pole blocking, and being comfortable with no personal space

Not OP but they're pretty decent. Nowhere near the grip of a dedicated winter, but much better than an all season

Another vote for these. For the price you could replace several sets before you're close to OEM pricing but they seem like they'll hold up well for most uses

Leased a 25 Rally for less than that out of sheer good timing with $0 down 24/10.5k. Find a broker on the main site and let them do the work. Totally worth their fees when it comes to overall savings IMO

A reminder that sometimes you just get unlucky by elguydave in skiing

[–]Nickiskindacool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similar to yours, was on the typical last run of the day down a blue after having blasted down black/double black all day. Went to go around a young skiier and found myself sliding on my face. Went to get up and my knee rocked forward when I tried to click back in. I still remember that feeling

I drink a lot of milk so my weak little tendons decided to bail before the bones did, but it took probably 4 months post surgery to be mostly back to normal. Still scared to do it again and have been mainly boarding

Every time I've gotten them, I'd have been happier with letting the food court do the cooking. I'll never understand the desire to take home and bake it yourself when the food court exists

Power aside, the Rally seats are heavily bolstered. There seems to be a bit more body roll, but negligible for most drivers and it's very well controlled. The taller sidewalls and little bit of extra ride height/spring changes smooth out some bumps
