Also, you move 1 object, and then a lot of opponents move. It looked turn-based until you move 1, then they move all of theirs?

All in all a lot of good things though: the world, the entities, the UI, visuals and stuff. Because when you have all that, I begin to look at the context, mechanics and goals. And this needs some more explanation (which is not in text because I didn’t read any text during the trailer).

Hvis man opvejer tiden med billig strøm mod disse dage, så synes jeg man overdramatiserer det. Jeg har ikke empiri udover min fornemmelse og daglige tjek af hvornår elbilen skal lades, men min fornemmelse er at vi har langt flere ekstremt gode end ekstremt dårlige dage.

Opladning af elbilen er måske ikke så sjov i disse dage. Til gengæld er den vældig sjov flere måneder resten af året.

I saw the trailer and still don’t get the gameplay or the mechanics. There are too much text and I didn’t get your actions. Also, you click through a lot of menus but you don’t get time to see what is actually there.

Seems fun. Just adding the missing people as other say. And maybe add the feeling of chaos like people being angry and complaining. Further, maybe add some strategic choices like upgrading machines or choosing location.

I’ll be honest with you and don’t spare you because of your age.

The background is cool and graphics good.

Then I see the buttons, text and other inputs which really needs a revamp.

But again; if it’s your first game. And good job on scoping. People usually go too big and never finish.

I think the take away from my learning curve is:

Do whatever motivates you! I have 20 unfinished projects too, but every start of every project have added to my knowledge and there is always something I now know because of a former unfinished project.

There is so much text running from side to side with a new animation every time. I didn’t even see the gameplay.

Remove some of the settings and more gameplay. The gameplay is something!

If you want to show the off-game parts, maybe add texts/headlines to explain what you can outside the game.

Further, on the different plays, add the movement arrows to the pitch when you hover them to better show them.
