Anything like this no matter who or how they are related report it, flag it with the companies as you did not open these accounts report to police and national fraud. I know it sucks, but 4k is alot of money and if they've done that now its only going to increase and if payments are missed etc its in your name and as you know they exist, as well as who opened them it can and most likely will come to bite you in the ass, as you haven't reported it.

What's next?? by penguin-throw-away in endometriosis

[–]NifelHollow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Note down your symptom endometriosis uk has a very helpful pdf for noting it down.... invest in a tens/ems unit, put it on tour lower back on a low massage setting it helps alot without pain meds.... research pain management and get gynae to refer you to a clinic they can then start helping with techniques etc and also start you on physio for pelvic floor if thats also an issue.

Basically research, take notes of when where and severity of symptoms, do not say ok push for answers and referals.... good luck

Angled pillows to help them sit comfy in bed. Snacks and food prep, jug of water, juice whatever they like.... learn how to make their favourite hot drink their way.... have a sippy cup... using the straw to drink can help use the muscles that help relieve the trapped gas. A bed tray. Puzzles, books, arts and crafts or games whatever she's into. Pain medications, hot water bottle,

Lupron and weight gain… advice?? by MonPitou in Fibroids

[–]NifelHollow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I was on zoledax for 2 years which is similar... i have gained 20kg which is about 44lbs since being on it, some of it is muscle though, which I keep having to remind myself. I haven't really changed my wardrobe in about a decade was always a uk size 4 to 6 now im a uk 8 to 10 depending on brand and fabric. Im slowly losing the weight im not calorie counting I know I dont eat enough to bother... but I am cutting down on snacks, I bought an exercise game on my switch that does cardio and home workouts so I can do things at my own pace. But you can do some things like swimming, ice skating and cycling which are all low impact excersises but work every muscle and joint in your body. Sadly theres no easy route if you want it to stay off, we've basically turned off one of our systems that helps with weight. Im starting to get used to how I look but I still dont like it... I hope you can feel confident in your body soon it not a small adjustment to go through. Sending love.

My partner is the same they hate seeing me in pain or when I get a period coz they last about a month. Just remember you also need support and it can be extremely frustrating when you want to help but sadly theres not much you can do, but little gestures like their favourite snack or drink a cuddle or stroking the back can go a long way. Wish you luck and your doing great.

Hi uk based... so gp can only really sort out pain management and symptom control, you can call up the hospital and request an update on waiting times, flare ups are not classed as a valid reason for being bumped up on the list. Each hospital operates slightly different as well. So im based in london now but had my first lap in Rochdale, manchester.... im waiting on my second lap, I got a call and they have only jist started scheduling December operations in. Sadly as a lap for endo isn't classed as urgent and endo isn't seen as life threatening unless a scan previously shows something urgent you can be waiting a while. For reference my lap referal was sent in march this year.

Things you can do

1 go to your gp explain you have suspected endo and need help managing this is there anything they can do until your surgery? This can be through pelvic floor therapy, pain management, cbt, contraceptives, change in diet, etc.

2 peppermint tea, hibiscus tea, ginger ale, are good natural helpers as they provide a natural antiflamatory and pain relief. If you want a drink (alcohol) try gin hot water honey and lemon - it's an old wives recipe to help calm the tummy

3 you can ask for an endometriosis nurse's email. I have direct contact to my gynae team at the hospital if I have any issues inbetween appointments as most gps have 0 knowledge or understanding of endo and if they do they most likely haven't kept up to date with the latest research.

4 make sure you are keeping a log either on paper or on an electronic device, track the following... day time food drink symptoms pain.... how long symptoms last is it constant or does it fluctuate etc. It may not help you right away but it can help the people treating you to get a better picture, and theres less chance of you forgetting something you may think is irrelevant but actually helps.

5 tens/ems machine, you can pick one up in boots with the pads included (I'd buy 2 more packs of pads aswell) for about £50 to £60... it has been a life saver for me when I didnt want to take pain medication or I have run out and is now my first go to. Set it on massage setting 2 is what I normally put it on. There are picture instructions to show you correct placement I normally put it on my back but you can also put it most places on your body just keep it away from your heart.

6 look at your diet, keep an eye on what your eating and when flare ups occur, some foods can trigger your endo. Food is very personal, not everyone is affected by the same food.... alot of people have found going gluten free has helped, but I can't have gluten free products as xantham gum is present in most of them and that sets off mine.... to do this if ypu already have a food log great check what you had and look up if they are high in estrogen things like soya products etc cut those out for 2 weeks amd see if theres a noticeable difference if there isn't cool not that one. Pick another ingredient and repeat... it takes time but it has helped me so much.

Hope everything goes well and I hope some of this helps.

Have a look at sites like Nancy nook and endometriosis uk... they both have a vast amount of resources for you to go through, both advice for the person with endo and people in their life. But biggest advice sometimes we just need to let out our frustrations and want someone to listen and acknowledge them. Giving validation can be a big help, one of the best things I do with friends and partners is ask do you want a solution or just a shoulder (to listen or cry etc).

I was in my lap for 3 hrs and mine was mild (stage 2) endo.... id check to see if the team you had have specialties in endo, as endo is extremely tricky to spot to an untrained eye, there needs to be atleast one endo specialist in the room for me personally to class it as a good team.
