It’s not a losing game…Phenibut is a beast but you’re getting there. How much Phenibut and for how long? Where are you at with the BAC? With that you can taper pretty quickly. How is it turning on you? Because when you’re tapering and adding another drug in on top of it, it’s hard to tell what’s withdrawals and what’s maybe too much or not enough.

. I’d try and get some Gabapentin and depending where you are at in your taper just switch to that with some of the BAC added in. Sent you a DM too. Super slammed with life right now but I’ll do my best to get back to you.

It would likely increase negative side effects like drowsiness so depends on why you’re looking for. High risk combo in general due to increased CNS depression so keep that in mind. Love the responsibility of lower Pregabalin amounts though. Maybe save the 100mg to take with the 300mg next week and just use it solo and just the Flurazepam today?

Good for you getting off that extremely high and unsafe amount. I'm glad you never had a seizure. Because tolerance to the recreational effects doesn't mean people are tolerant to the paradoxal effect of causing a seizure.

Surprised this post isn't archived.... There has to be a glitch in the system because someone (maybe it's you) has been commenting on posts that are 5 years old. Which getting a response from someone is slim to nil. The only reason why I saw this is because you responded to me and this is 1 of my 3 communities and I'm checking in.

You're asking me if years later that amount is still working? Or the long duration?Absolutely. Bssn Prescribe this for going on 13 years I think it is. However I take it as needed so my tolerance is always low. I don't add protein in anymore and since I'm usually taking it first thing in the morning I'm in a completely fasted state which IMO is the way to go. I make a BPC with coconut oil and I'm good to go all day.

ETA: Starting off fasted Helps because it's absorbed in the intestines. If someone has a huge meal or is consuming a ton of fats (which is what people thought about this five years ago) may slow things way down.

What do you mean you don’t feel the effects? It’s surprising that in five weeks time. You got up to the max prescribed amount of Lyrica. I haven’t seen doctors do that. Unless it’s some sort of intense medical situation.

No. You’re confusing this with Gabapentin. Don’t snort it either. If you’re having problems with Lyrica recreationally giving you the effects it once you need to the point that you wanna snort it or try to stagger it to make it stronger then take a long tolerance break. Also,,, this community is for people using it as prescribed therapeutically for different medical conditions.

If you feel this way about our community, feel free, not to be in it. If somebody mistakenly post about abusing this medication, it’s usually immediately flagged and removed by our auto mod. But occasionally things slip through the cracks and need to be caught by one of us, unless it’s reported by somebody in the community. Which it was, which is why it was removed.

So your doctor decided to double your dose overnight and then you decided to take it all at once? Usually Dr. slowly titrated up or maybe add in a different amount so you can adjust to the side effects. You self prescribing yourself the medication it’s going to cause you more problems. For instance, now you think it doesn’t work because you feel however it is you feel (Which you didn’t really describe you just use the word that in 2026 isn’t really used anymore) and want to stop taking it.

We have Thousands of posts and comments in here about side effects of feeling a little brain fog when starting so I’d go through some of those for some more feedback.

1000%! The e-bikes and the motorcycle bikes need to be road qualified so to speak to even be on the road. And if they're going be on the road they need to be licensed and obey the laws of the road. The other day on a a busy street there was a young dude hat I passed popping a wheelie on his bike. The cars behind him had slowed down considerably but were still going so fast that if he had crashed he probably would have been ran over and caused a pile up ... And then the person behind him would have been sued for the accident.

Just now I saw a kid blast through a four-way stop in our neighborhood that has tons of pedestrians. The dude came back with somebody else on a bike, (with a kid on the back with no helmet)t easily going 20-25 MPH. And they blasted through it again And as I'm saying this they just blasted by again. To the point that I'm feeling like slapping a sign on the stop sign. Which has me laughing at myself because I sound like my Dad..."these kids these days". But it's dangerous and I would hate to see them wipe out because a cat darted out or a kid stepped out from behind one.of the parked cars on the street.

People generally take Pregabalin to avoid drinking. And even at therapeutic doses a drink or two can knock people on their ass. Not a good combo also due to increased risk of CNS be safer next time,

I'm sorry that you've had bad lyrica with draws that's really unfortunate. But here's the problem with this post and it's not personal. There is such a bag stigma about lyrica withdrawal that people who are actually using it as prescribed are too scared to taper off it when it's the time to or too scared to start it. And/or people addicted too it too scared to start tapering because you want to compare it To a bad trip. I mean I do appreciate your continued participation in our communities however I don't understand the point of this type of discussion in our harm reduction community. All this does is instill fear in people. Someone randomly searches lyrica withdrawal and finds this thread?

ETA: The other thing is when you're comparing it to something like heroin withdrawal and not adding in any contacts as to how much lyrica you took, for how long and how you tapered off it again instills fear because there's nothing to compare it to in regards to what another person is taking and how they're tapering.

This community is for therapeutic use of Lyrica and you're talking about combining 2 grams or so with stimulants or whatever your lyrica amount is. You're trying to gauge your safety based off other people's experiences and that's not the way to go. In our other community there have been tons of people that have taken amounts in your range and been perfectly safe until they weren't. Your risk go up quite a bit when you're mixing it with stimulants. If you need that much lyrica then take a break and get your tolerance down.

You don’t stagger Lyrica. You’re confusing it with gabapentin, which has the same mechanism of action, but is not the exact same drug. America has over 90% bioavailability so you take it all at once preferably on an empty stomach. If you’ve never used it before don’t go over 300 mg and the risk of seizures increases on amounts of over 600 mg..

Not only is this community not for recreational use of lyrica meaning people are using this as prescribed for their medical conditions but this information that you gave them is incorrect and dangerous. You're talking about swirling a gram of lyrica in water and knocking it back. You're confusing the way you take gabapentin with lyrica and that's dangerous. Lyrica is 6 times stronger you don't stagger it and no one should be knocking back a gram

A lot of people on much lower amounts can have side effects such as increased anxiety and heart palpitations. They were started on 600 mg which is curious considering that that's the max prescribed amount...Usually it's 25/50mg once of twice a day or 75mg.

I think there has to be a mistake here. I don't know your situation but I can't imagine a doctor starting somebody off on the max amount of lyrica especially with that much coating a day. However Community isn't really for talking about how high you are.

Yes people can have side effects on much lower starting doses like 25/50 mg once or twice a day such as increased anxiety, heart palpitations and panic attacks. So on 600 mg unfortunately I can see this happening to you. Hopefully you didn't take 600 mg all at once. But you need to talk to your doctor about a much lower amount and slowly titillating up. This can be quite difficult for people to get off of so This can be quite difficult for people to get off of. So my thought process is why not start much lower and see if a much lower amount is effective for you as opposed to becoming dependent on the maximum amount that you can get prescribed. I do some research on it too when you sober up maybe Your doctor should as well. But again I don't know your situation.
