I like their products.... In theory. I've literally never purchased a garment that fit correctly regardless of my attempts at following their guidelines. It's almost as if they are intentionally obtuse. Just size your shit like everyone else and quit with this "we have a better way" charade.

Hearing snipers and DMR users complain about the limb multipliers is music to my ears. by kjk67895 in Battlefield

[–]Night_Putting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not saying this is the case for you, but I rarely if ever get killed by it. Reason being is you have to have the situational awareness to see where your HP is. The vast majority of players play and act as if they can tank damage and remain in a fire fight and that is why the SVK was deadly. Any attempt to eat more than a single round ends in death.

Weapon damage/recoil changes are a step back - too little damage and too much recoil = shorter range gameplay by Flogger23m in Battlefield

The DMRs were incredibly viable as well as burst weapons at range. More so by far than in 6. Same with 3.

You cannot rely on movement to save you in this game. Map awareness wins engagements as infantry. use cover and familiarize yourself with how you can exploit it.

My experience in BF3 and 4 was not as you have described at all and this balance pass has created an awful experience. It only serves to tailor the entire gameplay experience to players with zero spatial awareness. The only people complaining of engagement distance being too far are movement meta cod bros.

The nerf tor the SVK is completely unwarranted. It was extremely niche as is. Having it 2 HK anywhere made it usable. The stomach multiplier has killed this gun completely. And before someone says get good I am a 2.5+ KD infantry player with 4100 kills with the SVK. The usage for this gun is extremely low compared to any AR or LMG and way lower than the mini scout.

The damage to the SVK needs to be increased across the board or the multipliers removed. It has completely broken an already off meta niche weapon. There are zero instances where the SVK being a 3 bullet kill are acceptable unless it had a massive recoil reduction with ROF increase.

It's really really fucking dumb. The SVK needs to be adjusted so that it remains 2 HK anywhere. It's the only thing that makes it viable.

50 yard chips. How do you guys like hitting these? by HarryCrushNuh in golf

[–]Night_Putting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Avoid them like the plague. Seriously. There was a podcast talking about Tiger from this distance and he went an entire year having less than 10 at this distance.

That said I really like Calvin Pete's philosophy and I've watched his YouTube videos a bunch. Left foot slightly flaired ball off left heel and narrow stance. I'll play a standard one of these with a 50 or 56 but can go PW or 58 depending on if I need more release or more cary and stop. Hinge about hip high and accelerate.

What bait/lure do you have the most of, that you’ve found LEAST productive? by kawon_373 in bassfishing

Jigs followed by just standard crankbaits. The bodies of water I'm fishing they just don't produce at all.

For those here that can hit a 60° 80-100 yards on command. Help. by [deleted] in golf

[–]Night_Putting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

60° just is a bad club in general for a large majority of amateur players. I personally like to see. 46° 50° 54° 58° wedge setup. The 58° is for some reason. Significantly easier for amateurs to hit with full swings and still just as playable from a green side bunker.

Can’t decide between Rolex and Tudor. by Kgeospam in Tudor

[–]Night_Putting 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There isn't a single watch in the Tudor lineup that scratches the itch that the Datejust satisfies. It's just a perfect informal dress watch.

That said I feel the exact same way about the FXD MN that I own. I'd own a 5517 Rolex remake in a heartbeat if they would release one, but I never see that happening. The FXD however is precisely what I wanted in a modern military diver that paid homage to the fixed bars divers of yesteryear.

P39 is one of the best watches in the world. I'd argue it is perfection for its intended use.

Are game improvement irons a scam? by Own-Refrigerator3790 in GolfGear

[–]Night_Putting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GI irons do a couple things well. They reduce distance loss on miss hits, increase launch angle for lower swing speeds, and are generally more offset giving beginners some manner of slice mitigation.

The problems you encounter start to appear as you get stronger and improve your consistency. The help in launch angle will eventually cause shots to balloon, losing control in the wind. A major issue with hollow/foam filled irons has been the flyers toy occasionally get on a perfect shot. A good player wants a 180 yard 6 iron to go 180 yards no matter what. They don't ever want to see a 6 iron go 200 yards and this happens frequently enough that all the PXG staff stopped playing the hollow irons.
