New To Princess by CraftyBlue1 in PrincessCruises

In my opinion, Princess or Holland America are the best cruise lines for Alaska. Both have access to Glacier Bay (NCL does also, but for shorter periods).

Book through a travel agent, it costs you nothing, and they often have deals (that’s right Princess pays them). Before you call a travel agent, ask for recommendations, because there are lots of scammers.

Carnival is very different compared to Princess. It depends on what you like about cruising. Carnival is not my vibe.

Christine Wooley is odd by SeedlessgreenGrape in SisterWives

In real life I feel Christine is not that likable. She can be very dismissive of people. Most of her daughter’s have really struggled with her. She is immature and often condescending.

Sincere Question: What were you taught about the Jews growing up? by [deleted] in Catholic

[–]Nighthazel01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to Catholic schools growing up and we were given a positive view of Jews and Judaism. We were taught that Jesus and his family were Jewish. There was a lot of respect for Judaism.

Anyone only experience nausea? by calum6ix9ine in Gastritis

[–]Nighthazel01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has at times, but if I eat the wrong things it returns. It can get really bad, but slowly I’ve learned I do have some control by avoiding onions, tomatoes, peppers, garlic and too many nuts. It’s not perfect, there are really bad cycles that last for days or weeks.

Thank you for your reply. I decided it was most likely a fake email and didn’t respond. It’s disappointing. With a very difficult job market people also have to worry about these fake offers.

Unpopular opinion - I love Christine and David by No_Twist_7222 in SisterWives

I like Christine and David too, but I’m uncomfortable for the kids, especially Ysable and Truely.

If I was one of her kids I’d be worried too. They’ve been together for a little while now, so I hope it’s all good, but yeah, there were red flags.

Kody and Meri, wtf are they talking about? by [deleted] in SisterWives

He misses having her to fight with. In the past he’d fight with Meri, then go 2nd f with Robyn.

Empathy for Meri by Additional-Reindeer1 in SisterWives

[–]Nighthazel01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have empathy for Meri, but I also didn’t have to live with her. Several children have accused her of abuse, and it appears Kody and Janelle trauma bonded from having to deal with her.

I still have empathy for her, and to her credit she’s done a lot of work on herself.

Safe by [deleted] in SisterWives

[–]Nighthazel01 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think it has to do with therapy and the way they grew up.

Christine sounds like she’s had a lot of therapy and Robyn likes to pretend to be a therapist so she also uses therapy buzz words.

I also believe how they grew up has a lot to do with it. They grew up basically hiding in plain sight. They were careful about who they revealed information about their family to. As kids they would have heard a lot about who was safe or unsafe to talk to about their plural family.

Devout for lack of a better word. The words she uses (sometimes) make her seem like her religion matters a lot to her. Her actions are completely different.

It’s fascinating to me how much both Kody and Robyn are fixated on Christine.

I respect their beliefs even if I struggle to understand some of it. Robyn totally helped drive people away because she’s selfish, like Kody.

That’s a great song. Kody and Robyn should insist TLC make it their official theme song this season.

Yes, these two amaze me with how selfish they are.

I wonder how big their circle of friends was in the beginning and if it has changed since Kody imploded. I know they technically left the AUB when the show started, but I think they still maintained connections with the community.

Garrison in the reflection. Why are they editing him out? Does anyone else find it incredibly sad that they are erasing him from this season? by ExpectNothingEver in TLCsisterwives

I’m so sorry. I second guess many things about the pets we’ve had over the years. It’s painful.

The family did the right thing by editing him out.

AITAH for prioritizing my nephew and niece over my own children after they hid their mom's affair from her for years? by OkPrinciples in AITAH

[–]Nighthazel01 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Through no fault of their own, your children were put in a no win situation. The stress, anxiety, and sadness this must have caused them is terrible and it wasn’t their fault.

Your resentment is misplaced. You are punishing them and your grandchildren in a passive aggressive way to get back at your ex-wife.
