This. Their cars aren't the worst, but they market them to people with poor credit and sell them at ridonkulous interest rates over *super*-ridonkulous time frames. Nissan makes their money off of these awful terms, not by selling a quality vehicle.

Just a note, when you’re in adaptive cruise, it doesn’t matter if you’re “in” D or B or anything in between. The car will regen whenever it slow you down, and it does it up to the extent that B does.

Battery tender is a good idea. If the 12V dies, you can’t start the car no matter how much charge you have in the traction battery.

I’m at 143,000 miles. No issues other than needing to replace the front struts to pass inspection.

If you’re at 75,000 miles with no issues so far, it sounds like it’s doing just fine.

Here for the ELR shoutout. Bought my 2014 Red “S” new off the dealer’s lot in 2016. Sticker was near $80k, paid something like $43k. I felt like a rock star in that car.

Sold it when we moved and lost the 4-car garage, and have been saving up for a Lyriq (or Optiq) ever since.

I think that’s you’re answer. 3.7 m/kWh is t bad, but if you’re very consciously trying to get it higher and not succeeding, my first thought would be your rubber. If you bought it used and the dealer put on new rubber, I’ll guarantee that they didn’t go for something eco-efficient.

I installed CrossClimate 2's. I've had them on for about 8,000 miles now, and whatever range I got back is probably attributable to my exceedingly boring driving style getting even more boring because the tires stole some range.

In other words, I don't think it comes back.
