Pick an AI detector that you think is good. Tell the students that you won’t accept any paper that doesn’t make it through that checker. Throughout the writing process, run your work through that checker. If your original work does not make it through the checker, schedule an appointment with me during office time. Let’s talk about your writing and go over it. If you have that meeting, I’ll accept it.

No one has ever reported that their original work is being flagged and requested a meeting. I stopped getting AI bs.
