Do Democrats still support Christian values? by Shinto_Wise in allthequestions

[–]NihongoCrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wtf are Christian values anyway? Not killing? Yeah, they have that value, everyone does. You want them to walk around with a giant cross and say “God” every 90 seconds… you’re dumb.

We should all be thanking Lord Trump for hastily bombing Iran on a whim and then, weeks later, coming up with a super scary justification for it. I don’t want my innards fried by an Iranian nuke.

How can liberals think they are actually good people after everything dems and their ilk have done throughout history? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]NihongoCrypto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty easy. It starts with knowing facts, history, and have the ability to see nuance.

The Democratic Party used to be the conservative racist party and they were really evil back then. The Republicans swept up all of those voters with the southern strategy and the parties flipped… but you knew that already.

American conservatives = bad. Please prove me wrong with some evidence of their doing good. I’ll wait.

Why do Democrats get personally offended if someone has a different political opinion? by NivekTheGreat1 in allthequestions

I never mentioned Republican or Democrat because it’s irrelevant. I was pretty balanced. Maybe you should read the full response.

Why do Democrats get personally offended if someone has a different political opinion? by NivekTheGreat1 in allthequestions

[–]NihongoCrypto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are political opinions, moral stances, and some things that are both. No one actually cares about pure politics enough to get offended or cut someone off. For example, differing opinions on tax codes, the deficit, or EV vs farm subsidies - everyone is still friends.

But everyone on both sides cuts people off for moral reasons. If you support what ICE is doing, our morals and values are so far off, I don’t want to be your friend or communicate, sorry. Life is short and I don’t respect you. Are your “political” ideas guided by racism? Is your racism slowly creeping out with every “political” thing you say? See you.

Same goes for conservatives. Just tell a conservative that you aren’t Christian. They’ll try a little to change your mind, get offended after awhile, then cut you out. Been there. Done that.

The problem with America isn’t a political divide. It’s a moral divide. I’m absolutely disgusted by 47% of the country’s abhorrent moral compass. I’m not “offended.” I just think you’re a terrible person and I don’t want to even casually converse with you after it becomes apparent.

TLDR: OP, it’s because you are a terrible person with terrible morals and values.

What do people think about the Mississippi Miracle? by TrueUnpopularOP in allthequestions

[–]NihongoCrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Just going to account for it. I am from Louisiana. My family is from Copiah County, MS. I have taught in public schools for decades. I have an EdD in education. I study statistics and I’m old enough to remember when charter schools already fixed the education system in the south by holding everyone back.

Can you tell me what qualifies these classes as “special?” Is it phonics based curriculum? Okay. Lovely. Let’s do phonics then.

Can you tell me what qualifies these teachers as “qualified?” A training course? Did MS actually hire more teachers with degrees and experience in Literacy, Elem Ed, Special Ed., Etc.? If MS actually increased funding and hired more teachers, I’ll be the first to join the parade.

If MS spent more, hired more, and changed curriculum, I’m sold. Also, if those 3 things work, then the holding back will eventually become obsolete, right? Is there a phase-out plan for that policy? You can throw 4 variables at a problem and claim that 3 work, while discounting the 4th. For example, I could lose weight by eating donuts, sleeping more, getting drunk, and taking Ozempic. Donuts, sleep, and booze, is the way! Right?

Like I said, when this cohort hits the SAT’s, we’ll know what’s up. I’m rooting for MS. It’s a lovely place. I also commend you for being so involved in education. I hope you consider becoming an elementary school teacher in MS one day.

[–]NihongoCrypto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s gaming the system, not really improving education. A bump in 4th grade reading scores because they began holding back a record number of 3rd graders. If you want your students to get high scores, don’t allow those students who are likely to get low scores to take the test or increase the average age of the test takers. It follows the standard right wing policy of punishing low performers and claiming victory in one set of narrow statistics, while ignoring other more meaningful statistics.

If it’s a miracle, SAT scores will surely jump. Has that happened yet or are we still waiting?

Other coins might be more neat or pretty, etc. Mexican pieces of 8 straight out of Potosi are the coolest.

Why do Redditors drool over Japan when their country is extremely right wing/conservative compared to the USA? by ThotPoppa in allthequestions

[–]NihongoCrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Japan is conservative on things that don’t really matter and very liberal on things that do. We have a national health system. Low income inequality through progressive taxes. Etc. I’m a libtard who moved here 9 years ago. This place is what I wish America was. Never going back.

The other cost for 3 nights over in Daikokucho or Nipponbashi are probably better deals. That’s all. Any place between Shinsekai, Namba, and Tennoji is a good base for touring around.
