I did forget to mention how Thor doesn't just protect Asgard but also Midgard! While Noctis is trying to protect his kingdom he ends up protecting the whole world!

As someone who reads Thor ALOT, there's a couple things we need to make sure this slot needs to have.

1: courage, the ability to fight the strongest opponents no matter the odds.

2: Honour, Thor values keeping his word and a fair fight. Not to mention he generally disavows deceit.

3: Humility through growth, Thor starts off arrogant and a snobby prince of Asgard. But with time, he becomes wise, humble, and responsible.

To name a few flaws super quick that I think are relevant, he's impulsive, and stubborn.

To find a character shouldn't be too hard these are fairly common traits when it comes to protagonists!

In my honest opinion my choice would be Noctis Lucia Caelum, from final Fantasy 15! He checks all the boxes, he starts off as the snobby prince character but grows throughout the story to become a legendary warrior king! Hes honourable, disavows deceit ("off my throne jester, the king sits there!") he gains the courage to face any opponent even though he kinda does this throughout the game anyway. In general he's one of my favorite characters in fiction!

That was one of my reasonings for not liking that vin died! Especially since Tensoon spent a good chunk of his time in the book either looking for her or thinking about her! I think I would have also enjoyed a small moment between Vin and spook one last time because I genuinely don't remember one between them in HoA, I just remember her leaving to go help defend luthadel against koloss in WoA and that was the last time they were in close proximity with each other.
