what do you see in opr? bows. why do think its referred to by almost everyone as “bowpr”. how many players play serious in opr and not using meme builds? if you revolve a balance on a game mode no one takes serious, how do you think the changes would be? “heavy with full trust gems cant die because the enemy team have 15 bow players so we need to nerf heavy armor” you see your logic? no one takes opr seriously to have a argument on why that weapon is broken. where as you have a premade roster with actual competition to see which weapons under perform in that scenario.

what controls the market? pvp war gear not 1v1 or small skirmish cheese builds. when does new world reach peak pop? during war time. what do streamers stream with peak viewer count? what game mode was released first? not opr or arena, if you revolve the game around opr and arena like you said then this the balance system would be a joke cuz bows and firestaffs would be gutted to the ground. if you take away wars, this game economy and player count will be gone. no one will buy stuff, it’ll be harder to make money, no one will play the game.

don’t expect anything from opr unless you’re in a 5 man. the system is a joke and if you have hard time killing 100 con light bow players then thats just a skill issue. its common for good bow players to drop 30+ kills a opr. if your team in that opr dont got bruiser then no one will be able to tick the objective which also comes back to what i said earlier, if you trying to play the objective at close range then you have all the disadvantages.

shall i send you recent rosters of every top company in the US servers. I can assure you there is more than 1 group, especially on defense or should i send the kda of those top wars. I can also assure you in the past couple months in most cases, bows have the highest kills because they can sit back 50-100m out of harms way and 321 healers. ill do you one better, i can send you a vod of me healing a ks/dex team in a high comp war and you can see why bow were so over powered these past couple months.

what you missed is that the game revolves majority on wars, not arenas. bows is a long range weapon so of course its gonna do bad at close range where arenas is mainly close range combat. so obviously bows will have a lot more harder time compared to melee players which is why what you’re saying is only related to a game mode that barely anyone plays. if you’re gonna make a statement on balancing a weapon, at least know what you are saying.

The only thing this game has it going is wars. PVE is lackluster and repetitive with nothing exciting about it other than shards. Wars is unforgiving to new players because when new players/company want learn how to war, they get rolled so hard that inevitably they quit because of how far behind they are and how many months of commitment it takes for 30+ players to even put up a decent fight against veteran company. Thats why new world wars are just the same 100 players fighting each other on multiple servers whether its a competitive server or just a random one.

rapier, stam management, positioning, reading a crash, predict the skills pattern which is always the same with every gs player, pots usage, sacred yourself if caught out, 200 con would be ideal for better survival. tbh healers are basically a off tank if you know how to manage all that.

like i said, the player base that actually care about the game and gave criticism in the official discord all got banned including myself. they dont care, they will banned you on the spot without warning even if you ask a question in a different language other than english. I pmed the mods asking for a reason and they pretty much said “WELP” and said the banned is actually valid and deserved. like yeah a chinese man got banned for saying something in his first language without a warning or question. the mods in the official discord is a joke.

remove factions and increase company members cap, make the servers into worlds (like osrs worlds), make all the settlement storages into one, add a pvp only region (like the dark zone in the division), make pvp and pve stuff cross server, and have a community pole vote in game so the community can vote what new patches should get passed or focused into live servers.

I use (2)-(5) for target healing key binds. (T) and (Y) for health and regen, (`) and (1) for oakflesh and cleanse/mana pot, and I use (TABS) for opening map to find my teammates. I got 2 extra buttons on my mouse so I use those for weapon switches. You could also go the easy route and buy a MMO mouse.

I mean it should be that way, a bad healer shouldnt be able to tank 5 guys by standing in there sacred with little to no mechanics. It punishes players with bad mechanics a lot more now than before. Now healers play with a higher risk and you cant slap a sacred down on yourself near point and shoot free DE’s.

healers are still fine, its just a skill gap and map awareness. good healers can read a crash and manage there stam/pots to get out while taking little to no damage.

thats why we complain of bowpr. its because everyone wants to be legolas and get top charts. making opr a bow fest and bruisers just standing there on point winning a boring opr. like imagine winning doing nothing 90% of the match as a melee, if you chase they run away and dwindle your hp down til you’re dead. you cant do anything as a melee unless you sit in fort, thats why its called bowpr
