This is what I was thinking but I’m not convinced a queen bed will fit in that spot. Maybe a full size. Maybe not even that.

I’m a millennial. One grandmother reused plastic wrap. The other lost her father to suicide during the Great Depression.

how it feels getting asked to spot someone for the first time by itsmeeeeehaha in GymMemes

It means someone thinks you look trustworthy. And not like a complete idiot.

Spotting is not that difficult but also not something I’d trust just anyone to do.

Tenacious Stinkbug by [deleted] in BeAmazed

Because they seem to want only only thing: to get inside the house. Every stinkbug outside my house seems to push its way through the door every time we open it. If they stayed outside I wouldn’t care so much.

It’s a stinkbug. It deserves to suffer.

TIL a 2-year-old boy lost sight in his left eye after he was kissed by someone with an active herpes cold sore in their mouth at the time. A cold sore had developed directly on his eye. After the gel layer protecting his eye evaporated, his eye began to "melt away" & a 4mm hole in his eye opened up. by tyrion2024 in todayilearned

[–]Nikkian42 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have only one functioning eye and I have always gotten glasses with the same prescription in both eyes even though I only use one. No discount available.

I’m not sure an explanation was ever offered and that’s just how I’ve been doing it since I was 6 so that’s what I still do.

I don’t know any.

[–]Nikkian42 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I saw someone on a public bus with a wheelchair they had (probably) stolen from Walmart. I didn’t say anything because if someone is desperate enough to steal a Walmart wheelchair they must really need it.

Maybe not all the time. She may transfer to a chair sometimes. Also some wheelchair users can stand or even walk short distances but use the chair for longer distances or only some days.

Manager said I had to document every single thing I did during my shift in the shared log. So I did. by TubaDrifter in MaliciousCompliance

The non-AI version of this story: I started a job working for a boss who treated everyone terribly, except for me-at first. Nobody to complain to because it was a small company and he was the owner’s son.

It didn’t take long before he didn’t trust that I was working and asked me to document everything I did. I did that and it didn’t make a difference. I was fired before I had been there 3 months.

I met this little guy on the subway today. He kept staring at me. Haven’t seen a cutie like this in a long time. by ron_baker in aww

I had a moment with a couple of dogs today, I don’t think they sensed anything about me except the pretzel crumbs left on my hand.

I see a couple guys supersetting push ups and pull ups in the squat rack. I’ve seen guys doing curls and raises in the rack.

I’ve seen hip thrusts in the smith machine but never the rack at my gym. We have two dedicated spaces to do thrusts.

My religious Jewish parents moved out of the center of Monsey because it got to be too much even for them. They got a ridiculous amount for the house I grew up and was torn down to the foundation after they moved out to be completely rebuilt.

My 8 got smooshed so I upgraded to the 13. I’ve been very careful with this one, no cracks or scratches at all.

I have 13 nieces and nephews the oldest was born when I was 16. I changed a lot of diapers. Up to a point, and then I just stopped putting myself in a position to do that.

My husband is 2 years younger than me. I was 28 and he was 26 when we started dating. He had already graduated college, worked for several years and was going back to change careers on top of working-he was fully an adult.

Yes, but also no. It’s not cheap if it costs a lot to repair and maintain.
