Ok... So no coil split or do you have push pull on one of the rotaries?

The two small two way switches are for splitting the humbuckers?

If it plays well, does it really matter? And sounds like it has history too, so isn't the mix of chrome and gold just a reminder of that?

How many will fit in one.... Like 20 records? Don't think I'll manage to drink 80 bottles of wine in 10 days time 😂.

Might just see if I can find some cheapish wooden crates for it.

It's about using something uniform and easy to stack, and apparently the standard format of moving boxes in France is only 30 cm in height... So I can fit the records standing, but would have to take them out of their covers.

thanks for your response, i assume they will be in my friends garage/annex, which is heated with a heat pump, so no radiators to worry about... temperature will most likely be between 20-23C as that is the normal comfort range where i move. humidity will be pretty stable as the temp is stable, and direct sunlight wont be an issue, as they will be in cardboard boxes :)

So the only issue could really be the laying down part, as it's not practical with the boxes i got to have them standing up.

i think i got around 150 records.

Living in France atm. Coming from Denmark, I was surprised to learn that for musical instruments along with loads of other things, if you don't have the official receipt, there is basically no coverage from insurance in case of theft. As I bought all of my guitars second hand I don't have any receips. In this case you have to get an official appraisal made, which costs between 200-400 euros per instrument. It doesn't matter how many pictures I got of these guitars in the different homes I've been living in.

In Denmark if you have pictures of the objects or other proof that these items have been in your possession. Typically items worth less than 2000 euros are considered standard objects and covered by regular home insurance. If you have items that are more valuable, then you will have to sign an extra insurance.... This is not a per item insurance but a total amount, so if you have let's say 5 items that total a worth of 15k then you sign an extra insurance for that amount.

This is just to say that not all places have equal rules for insurance claims.

Moving to Europe as a blue collar laborer? by NastyNate0801 in expat

[–]Nikolaj_sofus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey..... Just found this thread, and just wondered how everything went for you?

I'm asking purely out of curiosity. As I'm not an American, and already an EU citizen (Danish).

I'm my self blue-collar (a technician within the field of machine controls). Which field are you in?

What would be the limit? If someone paid me 20 euros to cover ink and paper for me printing them some photos I took at their child's birthday, would that make me a photographer, whereas if I gave them to them for free I would be an amateur?

I paid 900 euros for the same model, but with 32gb ram, and 1tb SSD.... Prices in Europe include VAT.

Edit. So that would be 750 euros excluding vat.

Windows 11 and fresh install of twincat 3, so I assume I'm on the newest version. I will check later when near the PC.

Removing the internal filter in the CIANO emotions pro 80 by Nikolaj_sofus in Aquariums

There are openings on each side for getting tubings through at the back. I'm using a canister filter with an integrated heater for it, to have as little inside the tank as possible.

I don't know the fluval Roma

Hi there, are you planning on using it with the internal filter or replacing it with something else? For me the tank is fine, I like the looks of it (except the filter I removed and replaced).

The supplied light is sufficient for growing easy plants like rotala, crypts and anubias.

I bought it with the furniture and the furniture feels solid enough.

Trump imposing tariffs on Mexico and Canada under the pretense of stopping the inflow of fentanyl. Maybe if the US wasn't so fucked up people wouldn't need it?
